Re: UNC 2024

That was such a fun game to watch as a Terps fan and utter Duke hater. Thanks, Heels!

Re: UVA @ Syracuse Sat. 4/20 2 pm

End of game, two plays decided the difference. Watch the videos. First play is UVA up 17-16, 1.50 left. Most of UVA is ball watching…and btw, what in the universe is 44 doing? He’s going to the other end? He’ll come into focus again shortly. Is UVA really allowing a long stick defenseman to scoop u...

Re: Maryland 2024

I actually think Spanos should be at X. While he leads the team in shooting percentage, he’s best around the cage with some shooting ability. He’s just a natural attackman, not an middie. And he’s got really good vision. Just wish he’d be more selfish (actually wish ANY of them would be). Ford is re...

Re: Tewaaraton Award 2024

My $0.02 on the Tewaaraton 2024. Pending Yale, UVA, and Cornell team tournament results, and obviously remaining individual output, today my ranking is the following: 1. Matt Brandau 2. Connor Shellenberger 3. CJ Kirst I don’t seee anyone else remotely close to these three. Nor do I see anyone else...

Re: Cornell 2024

Any team would like either player. They're both future stars.

But the one freshman I feel is a little slept on is Princeton's Kabiri. Holy crap is that kid good.

Re: Tewaaraton Award 2024

But that's also a double edged sword. His numbers will be inflated because he's just asked to do more than Shellenberger or Kavanaugh, for example, because he has less surrounding talent right now. He's taken 20 more shots than Shellenberger, for example, and Shelly has played in one less game. Bra...

Re: Tewaaraton Award 2024

Brandau undoubtedly belongs in the Tewaraaton finals. He's been a one man show, and he's so damn good. But that's also a double edged sword. His numbers will be inflated because he's just asked to do more than Shellenberger or Kavanaugh, for example, because he has less surrounding talent right now....

Re: UNC 2024

UNC's motto: "Do less with more." No, they don't recruit like UVA (but no one does) and not quite to Duke, but the talent they pull in is probably 3rd overall. ND is coming on strong lately, but even their 2025 class can't match up with UNC's 2025 class. And these talented kids come to UN...

Re: Notre Dame 2024

The Kavanaughs are both undeniably talented, high effort players. They're also on the borderline of being dirty players. They're exactly the kind of kids you'd love to have on your team and you'd hate having on other teams. But what makes me despise them isn't really them. It's that the ESPN announc...

https://laxallstars.com/quint-kessenichs-top-20-april-8tt-2024/ Quint loves bashing the terps but his analysis is spot on pre shot clock dinosaur offense Without maltz terps lack any shooting, who will step up? Kelly, Murphy? Dubick or McPherson??? So many young guys not getting any runs, next year...

Re: Maryland 2024

Reading the Diamondback wrap up of the game, this stuck out. The two-goal first quarter marked the fourth-straight game the Terps scored two of fewer goals in the opening 15 minutes. https://dbknews.com/2024/04/06/maryland-mens-lacrosse-score-recap-result-ohio-state-eric-spanos/ That's honestly unbe...

Maryland holds on 8-7. Spanos with 4 (and they poled him ;)), 2 pole goals, Siracusa and Erksa with the others.

Re: Maryland 2024

PSU did cover him with a shorty and got away with it because of the double team support. He's done an excellent job of finding the open guy from that post move, he's just not getting the shot for himself as much. For the opponents, it is a win to be able to free up a pole on someone else, when he r...

Re: Maryland 2024

Spanos has tried and they have seemingly figured him out. Only double when he's about to do the Moses Malone pivot in front of the goal. Otherwise so far, the defenses have adjusted to his game. He has plenty of other weapons to counter that stuff, so others could get some great looks So...I don't ...

No, because Rambo could bully a pole. Spallina doesn't have that kind of straight power bull dodge in his game.
