Re: Hobart 2024

Any way to catch a replay of the game? Or does someone have a clip of the goal that was waved off? SU play by play says Pattersons shot was wide, and the Hobart play by play doesn't even show that he took a shot.

Re: Syracuse 2024

Go for it. In this day and age of "quick rush some news out there to try and be first instead of getting the facts straight" anyone can make a splash.

Re: Syracuse 2024

Article (paywall) on Syracuse.com about former SU AA Ric Beardsley wanting the D coordinator job. An all time Cuse great who has been coaching at the HS level for some time. Thoughts about this??? https://www.syracuse.com/orangelacrosse/2023/07/axe-ric-beardsley-wants-to-be-the-new-syracuse-lacross...

Re: Most Painful Loss You Have Witnessed Involving Your Favorite Program?

Either the 2010 first round loss to Army or the 2011 quarterfinal loss to Maryland as a SU fan hurts for me. I always felt that those 2011 seniors should have gotten at least one more ring but it is what it is. The offense just couldn't get anything going in the second half against Army, and they di...

Re: Syracuse 2023

Sounds like SU could be considered as last in/first out if they find a way to win today, there's no upsets in conference tournaments, and North Carolina loses to Notre Dame.

Re: Syracuse 2023

Clearly, he likes to score. Good at it as well. How many shots did he take? Spallina 5 goals on 7 shots, Hiltz 3 goals on 5 shots, Birtwistle 3 goals on 3 shots. Simmons with 4 assists. Much better shooting tonight from the offense though both Albany goalies are under 50% for their careers. Probabl...

Re: Syracuse 2020

For those who don't cruise syracuse.com, Coach Donahue has officially left the program. Says it was time to move on and enjoy doing other things like helping with his sons youth lacrosse league.

Re: Syracuse 2019

If the Dome renovations were supposed to start this year and they said they wanted to start construction once the basketball teams had their final home games then the schedule makes sense. I don't know how far out schedules are made and set in stone but I'd imagine we'll see the same type next year,...

Re: Syracuse 2019

Shot selection is what the offense needs to work on next. Trimboli had a nice high to low score but then reverted right back to the easy high to high save. Couple others guys with that issue as well. Albany greatly misses Fields and Ierlan. No doubt that offense will generate goals but they need to ...

Re: Syracuse 2019

No offense but the sub standard is about the least credible source for lacrosse info on the planet While I agree the quality of lacrosse content has dwindled ever since Rahme left, Kramer has been the best covering it out of the few guys they've tried. But what's so inaccurate about the article? Mo...

Re: Yale 2019

https://www.syracuse.com/orangelacrosse/2019/02/6-takeaways-from-syracuse-lacrosses-scrimmage-vs-yale.html Not much but it includes a box score for the scrimmage. Sounds like Yale treated the scrimmage like a regular season game. Orange defense didn't seem to have an answer for the speed and physica...

Re: Syracuse 2019

Came out of the gate slow but then outscored the Bulldogs 10-6 down the stretch. Not all bad news there to me. Couple of starters not in there, 1st scrimmage...can live with that. Let the season begin. If only that were the case, the PS article gives more depth than the Cuse write up. Slow start, o...

Re: Syracuse 2019

https://cuse.com/news/2019/2/2/mens-lacrosse-cuse-and-yale-battle-in-final-scrimmage.aspx Rough one, Yale twitter reported that the halftime score was 12-4 before SU came back to make the final 18-14. Some highlights from the article: Varello 12-21 with a majority against Ierlan. Voigt with a hat tr...
