Re: Quarterfinal: Maryland vs Florida @ Noon
Not to belabor the point anymore, but just a little more context on the broadcast. Many years ago, I oversaw what was then TerpsTV, and I worked a little bit on the transition to BTN+ before leaving. I'm not apologizing for Maryland's broadcasts, because many times I don't think they do an adequate ...

Here. You can donate some of your hard earned money to fix it. Maybe they'd even name the endline after you.

Re: University of Maryland Terrapins
UNC refers to themselves as the university of national champions and celebrates all two of their trophies. Nobody else brags about the history and tradition and success of their program because no one else has the same history/tradition/success. Maryland social media isnt here to make friends with i...

Haha, still here, still reading along, just very rarely sign in to make comments, but I had to login to defend you on the timeline of the rule changes. I'm glad you still remember me. And yes, I remember your fondness for those first pro games. One of the UWLX founders who wasnt a lacrosse person by...

Re: New Pro Women's League
I have no idea how slow/fast the rule changing process works in the NCAA, but UWLX in 2016 introduced the shot clock, the play on, and the self restarts. I think part of where its important to have a womens lacrosse league is that even as they fail, they set a bar, and the future leagues grow on tha...

I swear student run broadcasts would be better.

Everything not on the main big network is student run.

This was one of my favorites, from the a10 championship a few years ago, https://twitter.com/UMassSportsNet/stat ... 23841?s=20.
The ref warned her about it and the next goal she scored Callie gently placed her stick on the ground.

as a Maryland fan, while i like being in the B10, does it makes sense to send field hockey to Nebraska Generally agree with what youre saying, but for the sake of accuracy, Nebraska doesnt have a fhockey team. That being said, I would expect changes like these to be the norm across the board as opp...

(I never used twitch before this year), but the NWHL moved to twitch this year, and the NWSL will have some games on it next year. The live chat right next to the game and the commentator interactions really made the games hugely interactive and it was awesome

And why shouldnt an attacker get credit for taking draws? I'm not arguing shes Sam Apuzzo. I'm arguing that the conversation for best attacker can be based on more than goals and assists.

Re: Looking forward to 2020
You can add up the draw controls for the other 8 players you mentioned in your post, and Kali Hartshorn has more than all of them combined.
Maybe its not just goals. She could become all the all-time draw leader at Maryland, which has had some of the best players to ever play the game.

Re: WPLL Season 2 underway
I disagree with liking the shorter field (and by extension the 50 as the restraining line). I love a good ride in the college game and its basically nonexistent in the pro game. I also would love to see the stick drop after goals in the pro game. I dont need a stick check necessarily, I just really ...
