Re: Long Island 2024
It took forever to get into the top 25 that contained competition beat in weekly rankings. Folk making selections were not believers until season's end. SSHS24Lax.jpg I wonder what else South Side has to do to pass GC in the laxnumbers ratings...if they win out, that's the best public school team in...

Re: Long Island 2024
Joe is an excellent lax coach. Too bad he got shanghai'd after a San Diego road trip that went awry. Pretty sure GC lax was his next stop after fiasco. RVC youth program only started in 1990s. GC is way ahead on youth development for high school. The core of SS team has been playing together since g...

Re: Is anyone else sick and tired of the Kavanaghs?
Rock was one of first Newsday reporters to fully cover boys and girls high school sports and did a great job of it for Newsday who gave him free reign. Newsday has excellent high school sports coverage for a modern-day rag. He still has his fingers in the HS pool while covering the college scene and...

Re: QF #1 Notre Dame vs #8 Georgetown Saturday @ noon
I don't remember either having an EMO opportunity. The Flyers' alum all had excellent games. First 5 faceoffs were dogfights until leg injury to Hoya. Goalie play was weird with spectacular saves and goals allowed on shots that seemed could have been saves Turnout was excellent. Fun day at the Shuar...

How the heck did FASFA get broken?
What was seamless is now a nightmare.
Worked excellent for my four back in day.

Re: Long covid.......hillaryous
I caught it in April and November of 2020 before the vaccines were out. I have two vaccine cards from vaccine and all the boosters except for last one. I caught it again this December after a patient visit in Westhampton Care Center where an outbreak occurred. The fatigue and brain fog are real. I s...

A Chapter 11 filing will be opposed on "good faith" filing axiom and probably dismissed or converted to a Chapter 7 filing which then would most likely be withdrawn as unlike the two previous cohorts mentioned Trump's assets' liquidation would pay the creditors more than in a Chapter 11 pl...

Aleksei A. Navalny appears to have been some brave principled dude. Seems to be the kind whose death will spur things on. I wonder if there is anyone in the USA remotely close to this man’s character as it seems America has lost its moral compass and is wandering aimlessly destroying life, limb and ...

So much for, "The Art of The Deal".
It would have been hysterical if after rendering the verdict, the judge yelled, "YOU'RE FIRED! and posted it on X, GETTR and Truth Social.
Wonder if the rest of NYS realty companies will be charged for doing the same thing.

It seems Adam Smith's, "Invisible Hand" might actually exist the way things are going. Appears there is no rhyme or reason for things to be better than they should be AC (after covid). Leading indicators and industry norms are all over the place. Saw $2.99/gallon gas from Shell and cheaper...

That is more than a revealing article. Seems to me that TK is going to become a millionaire. And it appears that if the chain of Trainer command and access is as described accurately, any former Quinnipiac student-athlete graduate for any of their sports programs who suffers from any on-going playin...

I can't wait to find out how US $34T in sovereign debt, $1T in consumer debt, good jobs numbers, terrible layoff numbers, interest rate movements, housing inventory being bought by hedgers, and 25% plus commercial building vacancies are going to affect US and world economy in 2024. Got through 17%-2...

There were two referendums on ballot here yesterday. Change the debt limit for small-city school districts. Extend the debt limit exemption for sewage facilities. Both had 60% plus Yes votes. So modern day answer to debt seems to be to up limits. Paving the way to insolvency for federal, state and l...
