Re: NESCAC

Lack of college lacrosse along with summertime is a recipe that brings out all kinds of posts and random ideas and thoughts 8-)

Re: NESCAC

When it comes to athletic facilities, are all NESCAC schools essentially the same? Are there some that stick out (for better or for worse) more than others? Based on my experiences over the last 4 years (w/some color from the mid-late 80s) w/regard to the sports I watch/care about, I'll say Colby a...

Re: 2025 season rule changes

I don't mind the face off rule change but would have liked to see the violating team have their face off guy come off immediately as opposed to just standing up, cutting off a break and matching feet with the face-off guy who didn't jump/go early. Not sure how many 6 v 5 breaks you could generate fo...

Re: NESCAC

They would have to change up their style almost entirely. Their top 4 scorers were absolute turnover machines in 2024. Do that against DI and those turnovers are in the back of your net. Would they actually have to? For comparisons sake and trying to find a similar style, a team like Virginia, who ...

Re: PLL 2024

Coach Nat with some interesting personnel decisions to say the least. Again, lots of context I'm not privy to, but Gray out again? Keeping Degnon and Kirst out of the lineup is questionable, both have the ability to score from the midfield, and the Woods had only two goals from that position yester...

Re: NESCAC

Always tough to go back to back and next year will be no different for Tufts. Amherst, Bowdoin, Middlebury, Wesleyan and Williams should all be on the mix and will not make it easy for the Jumbos.

Does the NESCAC have current grads/players playing summer ball or sending teams to Placid, Vail, etc?

Re: PLL 2024

Watching the Redwoods play has been tough lately.

Re: SAA 2024

SU to SAA is official, the SAA survives another year, Rhodes looks primed to compete again with new coach Billy Cameron. Will Southwestern be able to compete with the top 3-4 teams in the conference? How are the majority of SAA schools going to afford traveling to Southwestern every other year? god...

Re: NESCAC

They’ll be the team to beat for sure, but you lost me at unbeatable. They lost to Hamilton last year, with just about the same roster they’re rolling into 2025. HAMILTON. That’s not “not playing to their potential,” that’s totally mailing it in for a team of their talent. They should’ve beat Hamilt...
