Re: Religion in America
There are more than 10 Commandments in Judaism. There are 613. There are 7 more if you want to count those not found in Torah. Maybe that is too many for a school to manage. From a Christian perspective Jesus taught the beatitudes. Why now post them. Oh wait….,, I saw the movie, there were 10. http...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
I know it is true. Heard it from Hopkins and Cuse players. He covets tall defensemen. He has coached for 30+ years, so it wont be hard to find some exceptions. Nobody said it was indefensible, people just tend to want to take any statement on the internet and make it an argument. I think after the ...

Re: Hunter Biden Tinfoil issues
It it is an an election year and what do gou do if giur candidate is a career criminal and convicted felon and you need to reduce the perceived difference in character. Well you could prosecute a family member of the opponent for a crime virtually no one is prosecuted for. You could also start judge...

Joe Tsai wealthier than David Cordish et al. Unfortunately for lax MB has not spent on athletics yet. Hopkins lacrosse is 141 years old or whatever. If they don't have the resources it's on the program, the athletic department, and University leadership for some of the comments Daniels has made and...

Endowments: Endowments have two categories. One is restricted endowments. You can only spend their assets on preapproved activities. The other is unrestricted endowments. They can spend on anything. If you want to try and get a fix on available sources you need the unrestricted endowment number. Cor...

The key board warrior does manage to function as an Israeli lobbyist while by passing history, current events, international law. Israel is on the verge of becoming what it claims to hate. Yes - wg... sensible Hop fans are all tired of this nonsense that the Millon foot on the crease not on the crease call cost Hopkins a trip to the Semis. As opposed to the Penn State folks who had some reason to be upset in that was literally the last play of the game - Hopkins had plenty of chances...

PM is a delegator but he decides what to delegate. There was friction between he and Grant. Obvious, to me, that means he was involved in the O.
Guess it is time to expand my horizons.

Does Jamieson have a family? What HS did he go to? Could it be he is rooted in the MD area and has no desire or ability to go anywhere else? Also there are plenty of great asst coaches who cant deal with the politics and administration as the head coach does...See Petro departure for those problems...

Wowza, Crawley's off to lead High Point: https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/breaking-high-point-tabs-hopkins-oc-john-crawley-as-next-head-coach/63632 It was a quick stop at his alma mater but he was instrumental in changing the culture for the better. And while the offense had its struggles dow...

“A large part of recruiting is being able to project where kids are going to be in a few years, not necessarily worrying about where they are ranked at the time that you recruit them.” I agree. In the 2010 - 16 time period Hopkins looked into why they were missing so many blie chip recruits. Do you ...

Re: Maximum Amount Of Coaches Allowed On A Division I Staff
The original limits on coaches was in reaction to Hopkins.
On the sidelines for Hopkins would be Bob Scott, Wilson Fewster, Jerry Schnydman (sp), Joe Cowan, Chic et al. It was characterized as unfair. There might be an anachronism in there.

Bill Hooper died recently. I referred to it on thesabre, where most of the posters seem to be to young to remember his generation. Little known fact is that Jay Connor is Fred Smith’s nephew. Think Hopkins could have used him? Fred Smith was a coaching God. Hop players loved him but then so did pla...
