Re: NESCAC
I agree. I miss the old format. I’m sure it cost the NCAA more money back then, but tournament was much longer. I love the midweek games and it doesn’t matter for the players because they’re done with classes. The fact that there are so many games in the first couple days to then end up with the 8 T...

Re: NESCAC
I'm curious about the state of the Jumbos locker room. The team has lots of talent, but doesn't seem to have the heart or mentality of prior teams. They've had so many close NESCAC games, including against Colby who they really should have smashed given their record. Losing to Hamilton in the confer...

Re: NESCAC
Not to use this game to compare Tufts to Bowdoin as the Polar Bears are clearly a much improved team now, but any predictions for Tufts-Babson tonight? I haven't seen Babson play this year. I feel like it could be a Tufts domination if they focus and bring their best game, or a very close game (even...

Re: Brown 2024
Lets at least have some fun and start talking about who should replace Daly. Has to be from D1, just based on Brown's hiring history. HC? AC? Offensive or defensive bent? X & O rep or more noted as a recruiter? Past (or present) Ivy experience? Alumnus? How many are in coaching currently? Thomp...

Re: Brown 2024
I may be a new poster but I agree its a worthy discussion given the direction of the program. No intention to troll anyone. I like Daly a lot and remain very impressed with his success at Tufts. It doesn't always click moving D3 to D1 unfortunately.

Re: Brown 2024
What about Kirwan? Would he jump from Dartmouth that quick? "Needs of the business" can overcome a lot, but if he left after one year how would that be perceived in the college lacrosse ecosystem? Would that be a big red flag for his future employment opportunities? There's opportunism, t...

Re: NESCAC
Tufts has a history of sleep walking into midweek games. If you look at most of their losses to lesser NESCAC opponents (outside top 4) over the years they are frequently on Tuesday or Wednesday, often away.

Re: NESCAC
Anyone watching this Tufts Williams game? It was moved up day due to weather i guess. Williams went up 8-1 in the 1st quarter. Jumbos battled back to 11-11. Now starting the 4th. What I've seen so far is Williams doing a great job of avoiding the Tufts pressure and ride. Keeping an attackman in the ...

Re: NESCAC
I agree with that. The players on Salisbury and RIT can handle the pressure of the Tufts ride and get the ball into the attacking third quickly. Their skill and vision helped them pick apart the backside of the Tufts defense. That was the story in the first quarter of the RIT game this year and cham...

Re: NESCAC
Tufts doing to Union exactly what they did to CNU. Tufts looks good but Union just can't handle the pressure, made worse by the rain and sloppy passing. Thought this one would be closer.

Re: Liberty League 2024
Union v Tufts a lot like the CNU v Tufts game if anyone in this forum watched that. Relentless pressure by Tufts on the ride and off face-offs resulting in a lot of turnovers. Lots of Tufts goals off the unsettled opportunities. With a lot of 6v6 in the first quarter it looked like it could be close...

Re: NESCAC
Its working now but still having some difficulties. Feel like I'm having a seizure.
RIT looks much more comfortable than CNU did with the Tufts pressure and pace. Picking apart the Tufts D so far.
