Re: Hobart 2025

Heard of three players considering transfer portal in addition to Campbell and Greene. Don’t want to mention names at this point but we’ll find out soon.

Re: Hobart 2025

"Getting better requires ability to change and change fast. That is my observed issue over the past at least 5 years." That line sums up a lot of what my untrained eye saw this season...a lack of change even when it was needed. We'd occasionally change goalies, but that seemed to be about ...

Re: Hobart 2025

I think motivation is both internal and external. I'd guess most great leaders have also been great motivators.

Re: Hobart 2025

Kinslow never enrolled - he was never on the roster or at the school. Not sure if he is “coming back” or not. On the comments about roster size and play time, etc. the comment about kids being wrapped tight in games versus practice is just not what I saw. Kids played terrible in games and there was...

Re: Hobart 2025

Interested to see the strides Kinslow makes in his second year, hoping to see some more time from him. I also think we have much to be excited for at attack, particularly with Snellenberg. He’s already got the size, but would love to see him pack on 30-40 more pounds this off season. Unfortunately,...

Stilwell will be back too, middie or attack.

Re: Hobart 2025

Plus Evnin at middie. Plenty of players to be optimistic about. Will coaches be able to improve/adapt/learn?

Re: Hobart 2024

I think you're confusing me with another poster. I don't believe I've been a defender of Raymond on here at all. I have a lot of doubts about the coaching as do many of the people in attendance at games, here on the forum etc. Watching games last year and this year it's looked many tmes like the opp...

Re: Hobart 2024

FFG, you needed 4 posts to respond to my thoughtless comment? For you to argue that strength of schedule is irrelevant to the team's on-field play/results/success/etc makes no sense. Pointing out that this year's schedule was more difficult than the last few seasons does not in any way diminish the ...

Looks like they blew the lead against Syracuse and failed to get off the bus against Princeton.

Im not saying don't play against the best teams. i'm just saying you might not look as good. I think strength of schedule probably attracts some recruits.

Re: Hobart 2024

I’d also argue that this years schedule was brutal. 6 teams in the top 20 etc Does it matter when you also saw them not get off the bus for the fist quarter of Albany, put up little to no fight vs Cornell and blew that massive lead and men have all come to expect blown leads and unprepared starts s...

Here's to a 4 quarter game, a long bench, and playing like it's fun.
Well said!
