Re: Cornell 2024

'ChadC' What I really liked about your post was the references to aggressiveness and team identity. While Adler is gone to graduation, THERE IS plenty of talent on this team. In retrospect, the boys did not have a good day & the coaches may not have had a great week in terms of game prep, but t...

Re: Cornell 2024

Old man football guy here. I’ve been in games like this with Parcells and Belichick. Solution is typically simpler than one would expect. Defense needed to be MORE aggressive to the point of being a man down all the time. When PSU ran two man games, BigRed should have been running THROUGH the pick l...

Re: Cornell 2024

Will Jack now get a medical Red shirt, and preserve another year of eligibility?

Fair question. Not sure. Hadn’t really thought about it till now. I suppose technically he could but I’m not up to date on eligibility rules.

Re: Cornell 2024

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Jack tore his left ACL in Thursday practice. Freak injury. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just plant, cut, boom. As you can imagine he’s gutted by it all. Argh! So sorry to hear that! So tough on these young men who work so hard and then bad luck strikes. Best wi...

Re: Cornell 2024

Is Cascadden injured? He hasn’t seen the field since the second face off. Or was that Petrakis taking the first two? Hate to be the bearer of bad news but Jack tore his left ACL in Thursday practice. Freak injury. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just plant, cut, boom. As you can imagine he’s gutted by...

Re: Cornell 2024

Does anyone have any "inside" information as to where the Cornell - Notre Dame game will be played? It's listed as a neutral site location on the schedule. I heard LIU on Long Island. Also, Blake Cascadden decommits from Dartmouth and commits to Cornell. The Cascaddens will be in Ithaca f...

Re: Cornell 2024

It's been a while for me - but what better way to return to the forum than a look ahead to the upcoming 2024 season in the context of last night's scrimmage v Maryland. Obviously, replacing players like Adler, Coyle and Ierlan is a tall task - but based on the scrimmage last night there is plenty o...

Re: Cornell 2024

I see that Cascadden's brother has committed to Dartmouth. He is primarily a fogo and we have one in the freshman class, and one committed in 24 and 25-- but it's always nice to see siblings wanting to play together in Ithaca (like the Box brothers). Looks like the Cascadden going to Darmouth is a ...
