Some conferences use goal differential as tiebreak if 3 or more teams tied. Two teams tie it goes head to head. Goal differential is maybe the fourth or fifth tiebreak used.

The biggest thing from ECU from last year to this year worse goalie play and losing the coaching staff to Ohio State. The preseason AAC goalie of the year lost her starting job. I am guessing the new defensive system might have caused the goalie number regression.

Crazy that Penn State only won 5 of 21 draws. Throw in some ill-timed shots early in shot clock and numerous fast break turnovers.

Just looking at Northwestern's mid season All-americans. Taylor had a better first half than Coykendoll and Mahoney than Halpern. Not to mention Sammy White has played half the games and didn't look the same when she was playing. SHe had no business being on the list.

The way Halfpenny subs you would think she gets bonuses for all ACC players and All-American because he leaves those three attack out way too long to pad their stats.
