Re: With Scholarship Limits Ending, Who Makes a Push in the Next 3-4 Years?
Unless I missed something, isn't this all speculation at this point? I mean yes they ruled in the courts to allow schools to pay athletes, etc, but I'm guessing this all has to go through a boatload of red tape before anything is official. Or did it just magically go into effect? Scholarship limits...

Re: With Scholarship Limits Ending, Who Makes a Push in the Next 3-4 Years?
:?: Knowing that recruiting is now only limited by roster counts versus scholarship totals, and considering how much a school is willing to invest in players, who do you all put on the map to emerge as top programs in WLax in the next 3-4 years? Who falls off the most? For me... Emerge: Ohio State, ...

Re: Transfer Portal 2024
This is another opportunity missed by the wlax community regarding increasing eyeballs on the sport. How old is that IL article now ? This whole transfer portal is just like free agency- if the coaches are going to deal with the craziness, the game might as well use it to stir up the excitement Exa...

Re: Maryland Recruiting
What is going on at MD? Since the NC, their recruiting has been dismal compared to BC and NC. MD was always in the top 1-3 in class rank, but now, it seems we’re well below that. MD doesn’t have one top-ten player in the class of 2025. What needs to be done to get better recruits? Has there been a ...

Re: Recruiting
To Decommit or Not to Decommit… HS & Club Coach here - I'm interested in hearing about others' experiences working with athletes who have committed but are now questioning if they made the right choice. I have an athlete who committed in September but is now wavering and wants to contact a sele...

Re: Transfer Portal 2024
In an attempt to bring this back to the topic - What does Clemson and Duke need to do in the transfer portal to take the next step (For Clemson I guess that would be making the tournament, for Duke - I guess Final 4?) Not sure about what Duke recruiting is - but I can’t believe Clemson could really...

Re: Recruiting
The best use of your '27 daughter this summer aside from the tournaments is to work on 1 thing. Train specifically to get faster, it's that simple is all sports. Speed can be improved, but it must be worked at just like any skill. She can never be too fast. It's what coaches notice within 10 second...

Re: Transfer Portal 2024
AND I was specifically talking about their OOC schedule which we can all agree is not very impressive. That's like going after Bama's out of conference football schedule when they play UGA, LSU, Missouri, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Auburn. Who cares that they play WKU, USF, Wisconsin, and Mercer?!? W...

Re: Transfer Portal 2024
Really interested to see how USF does. Conference is undoubtedly weaker with the departure of Florida to the Big 12. JMU graduates quite a bit as well. Could they somehow be the 2nd best team behind them? With the line up they are trotting out, I could see them beating Vanderbilt and ECU in year on...

Re: Recruiting
During the recruiting process we were able to get some sense of what coaches are legit and which ones gives lip service. But there are definitely some better hiding that than others. Glad I don’t have to don’t go through that again with my . It was very stressful for them. I'm more confused post-co...

Re: Recruiting
PSU out of state is 50k. MSU and OSU are 37-42k respectively. BC/NU 65ish. I wouldn't call PSU tuition low. Lol. I didn't know out of state was that high, I went there in-state. Now, the In state $ is about 20k/year which is really good for a well known school with a big alumni network. I'm paying ...

Re: UNC 2025
I wonder how this year could affect our recruiting for the 2026 class. We unanimously have been the best recruiting team for the past 3 years with 17 total 5-stars, 4 total 4-stars and 2 unranked. I hope that with this tremendous recruiting the staff does, we are able to stack the roster with more ...
