Re: MIAA "A" Conference 2024
I highly doubt Coach Posner would've accepted the L'ville coaching position without L'ville being a boarding school. And, if he did (which I doubt he would've), there's no way L'ville would be winning like they're currently winning. Coach Posner needs his Canucks and other out-of-towners. And... Thi...

Re: MIAA "A" Conference 2024
... with BL building a boarding place, what will be impact if BL ramps it up with OOS players. Will McD follow and who else. I have no clue. And would it be so bad if they do? I have no allegiance to any of the MIAA schools. I just like good lacrosse. If the lacrosse is better, why not be ok with t...

Several MIAA schools have boarding options, no? St. Paul's School, McDonogh School, Boys' Latin, Gilman School, John Carroll, Loyola Blakefield, Mount Saint Joseph. Or maybe I'm wrong.

Derogatory Posts
I'm calling them derogatory posts. Others could use a different adjective. Either way, there are umpteen posts within our forum that do not speak kindly of a specific AD, coach, player, or otherwise. Over the years, we've received several e-mails from coaches and otherwise claiming the posts are lie...

Tewaaraton winners: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tewaaraton_Award#Tewaaraton_Award_recipients The Tewaaraton Winners go to the tourney and they win within the tourney (at least one game). Historically. It's an interesting point. Would Doug Shanahan or Dylan Molloy have won the trophy if Hofstra/Bro...

Re: Tewaaraton Award 2024
Agreed. If Yale played a weak schedule, I think Brandau would have some trouble getting over the fence. This not being the case, I don't think the committee will punish a player because he plays for a (slightly) weaker team. Keeping in mind, Yale didn't suck. They just didn't qualify for the tourney.

Brandau's trophy to lift unless Pat Kavanagh does something other-worldly over the next few weeks.

Re: 2025 Draft
In a typical NCAA game, 3 attackmen and 3 middies account for the lion's share of the teams goals. Occasionally a long stick, occasionally a 4th or 5th attackman and/or other middies. But the lion's share is 3 attackmen and 3 middies. Let's call it 80% of the goals. Conversely, 100% of the goals aga...
