Yep! Great example. Many people thought that Cuse's consecutive Final Four appearances streak was going to end.

Maryland '87. UVA losing last year was pretty stunning. Duke not winning anything the last 4 years. Maryland 1987 is a good call. They were undefeated. However, UVA last year lost to Duke in the middle of April. And I don't think any of the Duke teams in the past four years went into the postseason...

Awesome choice, assuming it IS Torpey.

Will be interesting to see if they go with a current head coach or an assistant for a major program in DI.

Throughout the years, there have been many. Can you think of any examples? I do think ND repeats. But, if they don't, they will be the latest example of such a team. They haven't lost since late-February.

McDonogh has quite a program. From the way things are going, I wouldn't count out a four-peat in 2025.

By the way, would there be a finer venue for the Final Four than Navy Stadium if Graduation Weekend weren't the same weekend?

Even with the disappointment of the loss to Denver, we can't argue that Syracuse was a pleasant surprise in 2024. Next year, one must remember that a lot more of the talent will be Gary's.

Won't a lot more of the regular players be ones that Gary recruited, too?
