Re: Next Programs To Win It All For The First Time?

Looks like Ohio State is likely going to be getting a beautiful, lax-only venue in two-three years. With that helping recruiting, for sure, I believe in them even more being one of the next first-timers.

That would have been great! Would love to see Desko win one more before he retires. And that might well happen this decade.

Who Would Have Won The 2020 Division I Title?

Who do you think it would have been? I say: Penn State-The Nittany Lions were so athletic and talented, have a great coach who has been to the Final Four several times, now have Final Four experience under their belts, were hungry to finish business next year, and, with several seniors on the team, ...

Re: Big Ten 2021

As for coaches on the hotseat, do you think there are any right now? Tambroni, Tillman, Myers, and Millman are fine. Conry needs more time to get more of his talent in place. The one I question is Brecht. No doubt he has improved things. But, tough schedule or not, he needs to show that he can lead...

Division I Programs With Lacrosse-Only Stadiums

The ones I can think of are:

Michigan
Penn State
Denver
Notre Dame

Does anyone know the others?

I know that Ohio State is hoping to get one within the next few years. They are about halfway there in-terms of money. Let's see if any other schools get them.

Re: Rutgers 2021

Rutgers should hope that the basketball team keeps surprising and that Coach Greg Schiano does well with the football program in his second go-round. That would bring money to the school and improving their chances of getting, if they want one, a lacrosse-only venue. They need that badly, especially...

Re: MAAC 2021

No one will ever know. But an Inside Lacrosse employee publicly said that the thinks Tuesday's Play-In game would have been a Richmond-Marist rematch on the same field, with Marist getting revenge with an 8-7 victory. I totally could see that having happened.

Re: Hobart 2020

No one will know for sure. However, I truly believe Hobart would have won the NEC and appeared in the postseason this year. I am already going to go ahead and say that Hobart is one of the best DI programs who has, I believe, never won a First Round postseason game(while in DI). I think that will ch...

Re: NEC 2021

I like to think it will be a battle at least most of the remaining years of this decade. Even if a long-shot, would be awesome to see at least one conference team make the Final Four.

Re: Richmond 2021

By the way, I truly believe that Richmond is one of the better DI programs who has yet to win a First Round game in the postseason. I like to think that changes, and maybe sooner than many people think.

Re: Big East Lacrosse 2021

The Big East keeps getting strong. Georgetown, Villanova, Denver are all top 20 contenders. Providence finished 2020 at 5-1. Marquette and St. Johns are trending up as well. I assume the Big East Tournament in 2021 is scheduled to be in Providence again? That would be nice! They have a great stadiu...

Re: ~The MIAA “A” 2020~

St. Paul's coach Trey Whitty will be the school's new AD as well. Throughout MSA/MIAA history, there haven't been many times in which the head lacrosse coach was also the AD. Congrats to Trey!

Re: MAAC 2021

With almost their whole team back, I don't know if there will be a close second to Marist in 2021. Could this be their most talented team in program history? Think you are jumping the gun a little here. The 2015 team was the best team Marist has had in the past 10 years if not ever and the 2021 tea...
