The latter game is at John Carroll....tonight at 7PM...32 degrees, 18 mph winds, 17 degrees with the wind chill....gets extra chilly right by the lake.

Re: NCAC 2024
Not a great Out-of-Conference performance by the NCAC as a whole, as the teams shift to conference play this week.... Denison (2-4) took on a beast of a schedule with #3 RIT, #8 W&L, #13 Lynchburg and #12Gettysburg and lost all four, with only one of those games being close. The next three are t...

Re: NCAC 2024
Nice effort by Wooster vs. a tough Ithaca squad in a game played at Virginia Beach. Game was tied 7-7 going into the final 90 seconds. Late goal by Ithaca sealed the deal, but Scots got a nice shot off as time expired. They might surprise some teams when conference play begins next week.

Re: NCAC 2024
White....Not sure what you mean by 8-10 goals better? Per game scoring? Goal Differential? Anyway, that's a huge leap for any team and we all would love to see Wabash become relevant in the conference. They are usually good in football and basketball and they are increasing their roster size and see...

Re: NCAC 2024
Denison dips below .500 and exits the Top 20 rankings, after losing by nine goals to Lynchburg and their All-American goalie. The next four aren't easy, Gettysburg, John Carroll, Kenyon and York. Not a place the Big Red is used to being in. Hopefully, this gauntlet will pay off in the end and make t...

Re: NCAC 2024
I saw Hiram beat Mt. St. Joseph 29-3. I watched a couple of minutes because I couldn't believe that score. MSJ had NO reserve players at all....all 10 men were on the field and played the whole game. The Hiram coach has managed to mine the dregs of D3 and give his team a 4-2 record so far, but April...

Re: NCAC 2024
Watching the Kenyon-Dickinson game, I was thrilled to see how the Owls came out and were the better team on both ends of the field, leading 7-5 at the half. Out of halftime, the Red Devils took over the game, scoring off Kenyon turnovers, while winning the ground ball and faceoff battles. Through th...

Re: NCAC 2024
Some interesting games in the the NCAC this weekend.... Saturday: Transylvania @ Ohio Wesleyan. Bishops are 0-2 and need to get their mojo working. They need to roll in this one, since Transy got smoked by rival Kenyon just two weeks ago. Wooster @ John Carroll. Wooster started off last season with ...

Re: NCAC 2024
Looking at the stats from Denison's three goal victory over Albion....they dominated in all the key areas -- face-offs, ground balls, shots....but it looks like they have a goalie problem. Albert didn't look good against RIT either, but you could give him a hall pass on that game. Could be a big pro...

Ned....I saw somewhere on this site somebody said Denison +11. I believe it will be much closer than that! Go Denison....let's hope these men represent their schools and the conference with a great skill and effort. Ohio college lacrosse plays tough and will play you hard 60 minutes....

Re: PLL Championship Series
If you want to see a goal scored every 20 seconds, this is your game. The shooters have too much of an advantage. It's a shame that this will be the format used for The Olympics. I certainly understand why, but it's a bastardization of the field game.

Re: NCAC 2024
I think Kenyon will be right there in the hunt again for the NCAC title. Along with the Bishops, they will provide the only real challengers to Denison. While they have some holes to fill with the departure of Guiffre and Boesel on the offense, that young group of Chintala, Heath and Gumucio should ...
