I hope Cuse wins too but SB—-> Masera still playing
Oh right. I thought that game was further along than it is.

NU goes into halftime against Denver with a running clock: 13-3.

Same old Notre Dame, huh? A couple of big wins during the regular season and then nothing in the post season.

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024

NU is pretty much on fire right now: 7-1 with 3 left in the first quarter.

Make that 8-1 with 6 different goal scorers.

Re: 2024 All-Americans

I'd switch Thacker (1st Team) and Nalls (2nd Team). Both great defenders and players, but I think Nalls has a harder job within the UNC defense (than Sam does within Denver's), particularly this year. Completely agree. Thacker had an injury season ending after game 12. How can she be a first team a...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024

Forgot that there was a noon and 1pm game. Great job NCAA to actually space them out a little bit. Maryland- Blowout already Yale- Not as much of a blowout as one would think. Tight early and Yale runs away Notre Dame- Blowout in progress. Looking at common opponents, this is an easy game for the I...

Re: B1G 10 Conference Championship - Seeds, schedule and thoughts

Not saying Izzy doesn’t deserve it, but I’m curious how you can be named Big 10 attacker of the year when you don’t even lead your team in points. Izzy Scane leads her team in goals. I think what also needs to be considered is whether Madison Taylor's numbers would be as high as they are if defense...

Re: WLAX Bracketology

What an embarrassment for the sport of women's lacrosse to have a team (Maryland) ranked 13th, yet seeded 4th. Can you imagine the outcry if football or men's or women's basketball playoffs were seeded this way? I think it's definitely embarrassing for Maryland--is there ANYONE who honestly thinks ...

Re: WLAX Bracketology

I think Maryland got a very favorable seed. That was a really bad loss at home to Rutgers. Penn beat them at Maryland. The Terps are ranked 11th but receive a 4 seed and home field? Totally. At the same time, I'm not sure how much of a home field advantage exists for Maryland right now given their ...

Re: Games Today

Maybe someone else has mentioned this but based on this season in no way does Scane deserve the Tewaaraton. That was a horrendous performance and honestly showed a complete lack of awareness on her part. From what I have seen this year the defender from BC deserves it. If I had a vote for the Tewaa...

Re: B1G 10 Conference Championship - Seeds, schedule and thoughts

Lot of cracks in the foundation seen in the Wildcats today. The Hop defense made Scane look almost pedestrian. I'm not so sure they win it all this year. Some of the coaching decisions were puzzling, like who they chose to take possession of the ball coming out of their last timeout. Not nearly the...

Re: Games Today

Was Sammy White really out for an extended amount of time during which JHU came back? And then when she was back in Hopkins lost momentum? If so, that speaks a lot towards her importance to NU.

Re: B1G 10 Conference Championship - Seeds, schedule and thoughts

As much as I love cheering for Northwestern, I was a Bluejay before I was a Wildcat. I think it’s great how well Hopkins has been playing in this tournament. The competition in the B1G is just going to get better with all these teams with coaches with NU ties.

Re: B1G 10 Conference Championship - Seeds, schedule and thoughts

Less than a minute into the 2nd quarter against NU and JHU's Bailey Cheetham has already fouled out. I'm guessing that's gonna hurt the Bluejays.

Re: FSU Ask yourself, do you truly expect an ACC (soon to be SEC) athletic director to hire…a high school coach? Chris Robinson is fantastic. A legend. A hall of famer. Re: ACC Tournament - Seeds, schedule and thoughts

I know people were hopeful for Syracuse after their game against Virginia, but I don't think playing against Virginia's youth and level of post-season experience can really compare to playing BC.
