Re: Salisbury 2020

Had a chance to take in the games at Salisbury today with my friend. The first game was a matchup against a spirited Harford Community College squad. Harford was loud and pumped up to be playing Salisbury while the Gulls bench was unusually quiet. The Howard game wasn't even a contest as the Gulls s...

Re: Salisbury 2020

Cardinal, Thank you for the post. Lotta GKs in this group. Does Berkman keep five GKs? I count only 4; Warren, Ellis, Dabbs and Myer - 3 Seniors and a freshman. Wasn't Dabbs listed as a Senior last year? SWF - the four you have are on target. The fifth is the Marquette xfer (Carver Skarnulis - I th...

Re: Salisbury 2020

Moroney is back and will likely press Armstrong for 3rd attack with Melton & Ferrara. Burt's name hit this forum in 2019 but never made team. Forum post from last yr mentioned he was R/S at Cuse in 2017. That's a lot of time on the wrong side of those white lines. Also, I think he plays attack w...

Re: D3 Preseason Rankings

What the hell has happened to Roanoke the program from the outside looks to be in a tail spin. 2019 11-8 ODAC semis 2018 14-6 ODAC finals, NCAA 2d Round 2017 12-4 ODAC semis I guess your definition of tailspin is a little different than mine. To each his own. Perhaps he was referring to this? IDK??...

Re: CAC 2020

IMO the CAC is done. Losing six teams (Wesley, Marymount, FSU, York, SoVa and St Mary’s) over the last three years is not a good development for the long term health of the CAC. Over the last couple years, I have heard about the CAC expanding into NJ with Montclair St and maybe Stockton, but with th...

The @Stevens was a bit of a puzzle for me.
Agree the Stevens game is unusual scenario. Recruiting exposure aside, it's a 4+ hour trip from the Shore on a weekday for a 1pm game? Team would have to leave SU around 8am on a school day. Just seems odd. Curious if that is just a typo.

Re: Salisbury 2020

Greetings Shore! I'm with you on the OOC schedule - nice to see some new faces that can be competitive instead of cupcakes like Kenyon, Methodist, etc. (nothing against those programs, but not folks that are gonna give this team a run) I have to think some of this has to do with recruiting - especia...

Re: Salisbury 2020

Highly unlikely IMO. Berkman would likely be looking forward to a GK of the future so a Soph xfer would make more sense than a upperclassman who might only deliver one year. The only possibility on D is if Kness isn’t 100%. Berkman loves Kness and with Apgar getting 1st team AA love he’s safe. Borko...

Re: Salisbury 2020

Greetings Shore! Hope your vacation was great. Since we are in the lacrosse ‘silly season’, I’ll lend a few thoughts as well. Attack – Projected starting three (Melton, Ferrara, Moroney); Outside looking in (Armstrong, Brown, Ament) Melton will be a preseason POY candidate for sure. Ferrara is as gr...

Greetings DP! Completely agree on the Chandler Schmidt take. He's had a solid run at HCC after having to sit out his freshman campaign at Essex due to injury. Definitely a turnkey kinda deal with him. Would like to see Wolf add about 15lbs in the gym over the summer. Solid ball-handler and nice shoo...

Re: SALISBURY 2019

Yikes is right! Met some old friends in C’town today for the WOTS. Admittedly, I may have been looking past the Shoremen in this game and it seemed like maybe the Gulls were too. Another classic game in this storied rivalry for sure and the quintessential ‘trap’ game. It seemed like the Gulls might ...
