Re: North Carolina 2023

Yeah, send him out to a recruiting event representing UNC, with all his colleagues, and humiliate him on the road. At least Metzbower stayed and fulfilled his duties, gave a recruiting talk, and was a man. JB is a mile wide and an inch deep, nice to your face, fun guy, says all the right things, can...

Re: North Carolina 2023

Breschi just sacrificed his Colonel to save his own rear-end. 9 years of service and some significant successes. Strong leaders accept the blame and the consequences of failure, and at UNC there has been plenty of shortcomings. Last game I watched, Breschi was still calling the timeouts. This is NOT...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2024

Hopkins is very thin in the 23 class. There are only 17 recruits coming in this fall. CC is a great pick up. Great to see brothers on same team.

Re: UVA 2024

So add to the list of needs, an OC. Fogo (+1 maybe 2); SSDM (+1 after Yeager;) O middie; looks like UVA getting 2 d guys back so no needs there. Portal is very expensive and with no OC, going to be even more challenging...

Re: UVA 2024

Do you think they will redshirt Millon or is he too good to let sit a year? I just mentioned him above. I can’t imagine in a million years. His dad is a forceful guy as Baltimore parents surely know, and his body is D1 ready. UVA has a few spots to fill on offense and they dont seem like a program ...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2024

What is under-appreciated is how important Hop's QUICK turn-around is to the league. Coupled with Michigan and PSU finding their footing and identity, the league has gone from a 23 pre-season question mark, to a must watch league in 24 and hopefully beyond. OSU has a Myers problem and Brecht has a R...

Re: ACC, Big10, Ivy in 2024

I'm perplexed by the Ivy analysis. Can anyone explain that? Complete unfamiliarity of the OP with Ivy teams. Remove your rooting interests and consider the Ivy objectively. They were not as good this year ... and this year was the year they had the best shot IF they could have proven 22 was ...

ACC, Big10, Ivy in 2024

The ACC and B10 are going to be even better in 2024. Each will have (4) in the Tournament (UNC, Rutgers, Ohio State OUT) and the Ivies will have (2) Yale and Harvard. There is a ton of talent returning, a ton of talent on the benches, and a ton of portal-talent ready to bolster these programs. Below...

Re: Coaching Carousel 2023 - D1

I must not be the only English major here. Unless, of course, you read Camus en français as we had to to meet the language requirement at the U. I’m guessing the tat shop was in el barrio gótico or perhaps in el born. Cornell have been in el raval, that would have been pretty edgy the, especially i...

Re: North Carolina 2023

Settled offense, something the OC plays a big part in, has been pretty painful to watch the last couple of years. The narrative coming out of 2022 was that they relied too much on Chris Gray and things might actually be better by spreading his responsibilities more evenly between the offensive play...

It seems fair to summarize several posts about specific programs and their coaches by reflecting back the identity and culture these programs and coaches promote. Lacrosse isnt the lacrosse of the past where talent is concentrated in a few programs BUT it is a sport where only a few programs can ac...

Re: Best Venues For The Quarterfinals

Albany had about 2,000 fans per game. The staff was rude and unhelpful. Parking to tailgating coordination was not good. The town is miserable. The stadium was great- except its in Albany. Terrible place for a regional game. Albany could be one of the worst places to visit ever- as the capital of NY...

Re: Notre Dame at UVA (Round 2)

@Finster. Im going to go out on a limb here and say Shellenberger and UVA will be just fine. It seems they have a pretty good bench. Dickson was not in the "top scorer" category EVER. Now he is just that. Shellenberger can turn other players with potential into all stars. That is in great ...

Question: Does Petro replace Breschi or do little Petros transfer to Cuse?
