Re: MD at Cuse, 2/17, 3 p.m.

i got cuse in this one. That offense is no joke. The Tyrells, Carney and Ward are experienced and talented enough that they will not be held by anyone. even the vaunted MD defense. From the mountain top.. ;) Time to put some respect on Cuse's name and we need to stop giving MD the benefit of the do...

Re: Live Game Action

Don't know who Larry is. Apparently one of the officials had written down numbers 1 and 5 had yellow card calls on them. There is no #5 but there is a #15 (Nat Smith) and she did have 1 yellow card. Clerical error on the official's part, pretty sure it was the black guy who is the one who made the ...

Re: Boston College

Absurd that they played indoors. 50+ degrees here in NE yesterday. Porta potties at a D1 facility is pathetic! Would you have put any money on it being that kind of day in NE when the schedules were being put together? Fully agree on the porta potties. I don't like the indoor facilities that can't ...

Really hope she returns to 100% ASAP. Really impressed with her the few times I saw her in high school. Another Long Islander. Very glad she is having a great career at Boston College. I feel like BC this year looks like UNC last year . Lot of scorers , lot of depth , great ride , and defense causi...

Re: Boston College

This is misinformation regarding BC middie play. BC played 6 middies most of the game on 2 middie lines that played fairly even. BC did the same thing last year during regular season. In fact sometimes played 3 lines. They will shorten middie lines in tournament but very rarely during regular seaso...

Re: Boston College

BC looked like a team that has not taken long to come together. I know they didn't lose a big starting class but some very key spots were open. Early shooting was UGLY and if North was anything she was a deadly finisher, they missed her ability there. I'm sure that will get ironed out soon enough. ...

St. Bonaventure, a team that went 1-14 last year should not be putting up 5 goals on this MD Defense for the hype it's...

Re: Syracuse 2023

1 for 15 shooting, wearing #22. SMH. Daddy’s hype machine ain’t going to fix that type of performance. The dad is a tool, but if you watched game has I did you can tell he is going to be good, but an X man playing with the talent he has around him should never have 15 shots. Plus eventually he has ...

Oh yes, I know who she is. Should not be on the list. Nice little player for sure.

....and Carney was at 75% at best, wouldn't expect to see her on there either. Am kind of surprised to not see Nattie Smith's name on there though. Nat smith. Surely you’re joking I am, but then again I can't take these pre season polls, rankings, lists, etc the least bit seriously. Maybe she's sti...

I would not have chosen two of these three much-less-than-flattering photographs. I see many photographs of players make their way onto social media that I'm sure the players (and those who eventually see them) would balk at if they had veto power. https://twitter.com/NDWomensLax/status/16085949908...

Re: Inside Lacrosse Top 50

In the late 80s when I was learning the game on the men's side, I don't remember any all wood sticks but there were still a few guys who held on to their wood shafts. Let's just say I don't think most were doing it for improved feel and skill. ;) There were exceptions, but in my experience it tende...

Again, in MHO the top 50 players in the college game should be reserved for the very, very best players. Draw specialists, who have marginal skills beyond the draw itself should not occupy a precious spot in the top 10. There are players ranked on this list in the teens and 20s who have blazing spe...

Doc's daughter was an example of what every college athlete should aspire to be in terms of her success on the field but much more importantly her incredible performance in the classroom. These are not NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, etc players whose sole job is to train their bodies, practice and win games. ...

Not only did she win the championship with UNCLAX this past summer, she's a starter on the storied soccer program and scored the winning goal to send her team to the c...
