Re: USA U-20 National Team Roster
I have to say, I am quite surprised by all this negativity. Maybe it’s only a small minority who are being vocal, but, to me, it’s a really bad look. My two cents. Bad look? I would say beating an inferior team by 30 goals is a bad look. I don't see the need for all of this U-insert age group perso...

Re: USA U-20 National Team Roster
This was the only game I watched, but even putting aside the change from U19 to U20, allowing the US team to have college players is a huge help. It seems to me that the core of the team has played two years in college, which is very significant. The team did not have any high school underclassmen ...

Re: USA U-20 National Team Roster
This is nonsense. Can't imagine anyone (even those parents who have a daughter on team) find this entertaining.

Re: NESCAC
Excited to see what 2025 has to offer for the Bantams. Trinity has been on a recruiting tear recently, and not sure other NESCACS can compare to the social life Trinity provides to its students. I believe 2025 will be the year of the Bantams, especially with stud attackman Ethan Cobb coming back fr...

Re: TV Broadcasts/Announcers/Production
Joe Beninati is the best our sport has to offer. I appreciate the way JoeB tells us who has the ball, as it moves around. It's helpful when watching a team that you've not watched so much that you've memorized every player's #. Agree. JoeB is the best. Boyle and Dixon round out the triumvirate for ...

Re: UNC 2024 End of Season (2024-2025 Predictions)
Caitlyn Wurzburger’s story is implying she will NOT return next season. A great career at UNC, but I think it’s good for her knowing we have lots of depth next season. I'm confused CW is a senior and does not have another year of eligibility. Covid free years stopped prior to her class. UNC comes b...

Long-time Hobart lacrosse follower & supporter, first-time Fanlax poster. No one is trying to take away from the accomplishments of the great Hobart teams of the past. We have one of the oldest and most historic programs in the country, that is not in dispute. However, the accomplishments from ...

Re: Natalie Smith's Shot in OT
Let's have another few looks, shall we? Yeah, that's a good idea. Let's rub some salt in the wound of this gal who is without question still in a ton of emotional pain and in a dizzying spin (been in her spot X2 at about her age, I know what it does to you) from the nasty curveball life threw at he...

Re: Cuse at BC, 4/18 @ 1700 hrs
Somebody has to lose. Utmost respect for both teams from this fan. Curious if anyone else thought M Tyrell didn't look herself? Is she a bit banged up? She usually is buzzing around with good speed but thought I didn't see the same type of movement. I have only watched a few Syracuse games this yea...

Re: Hobart 2024
Sunnylax, there is not the same buzz as the 80s, but there are lots of good reasons for that. First, the school switched to semesters, and play in general has shifted earlier. No one wants to watch on the Boz in Feb or March. And the school itself has changed. Half of the students are varsity athet...

Re: Nice (read: lame) try, though...
Those of you desperately (read: enviously, spitefully, pathetically) trying to catch me in a hypocritical contradiction, come talk to me when Northwestern (like North Carolina) makes a habit of scheduling 15 regular season games per season while the rest of the teams in their conference schedule 16...

Let's hope it's too late for them to move the game into that crappy little indoor facility.Seacoaster(1) wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 7:53 amPerfect.OuttaNowhereWregget wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 7:17 am Weather report calling for cloudy skies in the low 40's with a breeze. Re: Top Teams
Midd squeaked by Tufts, Wes beats Smith...now for Bullets F&M Wednesday! Wes zone D effectively limited both Tufts and Smith's dodgers who are the keys to both teams' attacks. Once that route was shut down, Smith's key attackers forced bad shots (4 of 8 shots on goal by one) and were neutralize...

Tied 11-11! The non-goal looms VERY large Right now. BC is going to DISMANTLE this team. Props to ONW on the call of ND being on the downswing. It’s posts like this that make me think folks like you, LaxDadMax and ONW (or Cletus) which ever handle he goes by are reminiscent of a folk lore hero foot...

Re: Games Today
Seacoaster— Duke gets the players they want and they are plenty talented enough. My take is it’s development and coaching related. Other option is, Duke is the school where the parents that harp about “best academic program” send their kids to, with the kids no longer caring about playing. From a f...

Re: Who will be the starting 7 in the offensive zone for the Heels?
Who's the stud leader when the team needs a goal during crunch time? Talent and depth--sure; but will the offensive unit gel? We'll get an excellent first look at how the Heels plan to attack this Saturday vs JMU. Big time test. I got the Dukes by 3-ish. Casey Godine. She has elite dodging skills w...

Well clearly you are be snarky but I’ll answer your question regardless. And yeah actually North’s shooting numbers annoyed me at times. You can look at my posting history here on this forum and I’ve never pumped up North’s game like others on here have. Sam Apuzzo, in my opinion, is the greatest p...
