I've seen SouthSide too. The B game should be a great matchup, and a lot of fun to watch. It's nice to see some new teams in the spotlight.

I've seen them several times. They're excellent; possibly the best 1st midfield on LI. They're very deep, and all 6 players on offense are threats. Very well coached. How they deal with Melkonian at the face-off x will be key. They get excellent wing play, and they're relentless off the ground.

EI totally dominant so far. 6-0 in 2nd quarter.

Congratulations to the Babylon Panthers, 2024 Suffolk "D" champions! They beat Mattituck 9-3, and advance to play the Nassau winner. They led wire to wire, scoring the first 8 goals of the game. The Panthers needed 4 overtimes to beat the Tuckers during the regular season.

Comsewogue just handed Bayport its first loss 8-7 in OT.

I haven't seen Northport yet, but I witnessed solid wins for Bay Shore against Sachem North and Smithtown East. Bay Shore is a scrappy group, with some young players stepping up. EI is a "B" school, and probably the favorite in that classification, in Suffolk.

I spoke with a person at a St Patty's party whose son played at Northport. He told me that Coach Cerasi is still coaching, but due to increased family obligations, stepped aside from the HC position. A very highly regarded assistant has assumed the HC responsibilities.

Dragons looked sharp in the opener today. They looked faster and more athletic that they have in some time. The ball movement was crisp, and balls weren't getting stuck in sticks. Nice start for the 2nd Rodgers era.
