Re: 2024 Bracketology
The fact that both UMD and UVa are ranked seeds is all I need to know. No other programs could get a way with their results this season and make it into the tourney, let alone be seeded. Getting your tails kicked by better teams all year shouldn’t be on the plus side of the ledger.

Re: ivy league 2024
Am I wrong to think a win against an Ivy team is considered a “good” win ie uva over Harvard, Denver over Cornell, umd over Princeton, but the Ivy’s don’t get that same credit for their wins (Penn over Duke, Cornell over Cuse, Yale over Denver)? Also, does anyone know if pre-season polls are used in...

Re: ivy league 2024
Ivy League got hosed in tourney. Not sure what they can do about when teams like umd, psi and uva can throw up all over themselves at the end of the season and still get in. Ivy needs better advocates, clearly, when it comes to this process.

Re: 2024 Bracketology
Tell me again why UVA is such an automatic? Yea, I get the RPI, but don’t you at least have to win some of those games, and not just play them? Wins against umd (do we know what they are , btw, from a quality perspective?), Harvard (didn’t make the Ivy tourney) and Mich (who before the Big10 tourney...

Re: Penn 2024
Massive for Murph and the program! National TV, one road….so much fun to watch. This team could get better and better as the season wears on with all the young guys playing. Can we back it up on Sunday? Rest up, boys!

Re: ivy league 2024
Huge Quaker victory! The team played super hard. A lot of young players stepping up. Good for Murph and Co. Then Princeton smokes UNc. Great night for the League. Will be a huge help with RPI of the League all year, assuming Duke and UNCbeat some ACC schools.

Re: North Carolina 2023
:) If you've watched AF lacrosse, JTs offensive plan is simply to hope someone can run past their defender. There was zero ball movement, no off-ball picks, even EMO looked u13-ish. At Amherst he had an enticing carrot to land quadi-D1 athletes. At AFA he rarely had the athletic advantage yet still...

Re: Big East 2024
I will say one thing. For Villanova, seeing Georgetown winning conference tournament titles is one thing, due to all that Georgetown has to offer in recruiting. However, seeing Denver or Marquette winning another, or Providence winning their first, before Nova wins their first is another. Regardles...

Re: Penn 2024
Big and talented freshman class. I am very excited to see. Outside of Handley, scoring from the midfield was lacking last year. Hopefully this group can help that. Big miss w Bond moving on. Huge hole to fill. Maybe Shipley can pull a Bubba Fairman from a few years back, and focus on defense and tra...
