Re: Obituaries - Gone but not forgotten.

Tony Joe White of Polk Salad Annie fame and other swamp rockers. I'm not sure why it's spelled polk when we all know it's poke. Euell Gibbons wrote all about stalking the wild asparagus or poke. As a kid my uncle took us kids out to pick poke. It was cooked in a pressure cooker with lots of butter a...

Re: E8 2019

The Liberty has had issues with football too, associate members etc. From what I understand they courted Ithaca so that they would have a hard and fast 6 team lineup for football. I guess that 6 is the number you need for an AQ? With enrollment and more specifically male enrollment being an issue yo...

Re: E8 2019

Gorman changes things dramatically at Elmira. It shows the administration supports lax. I guess that Sage is now a full time member of E8. They should become a healthy member in a short time given their location. All good things. Good to see you laxrules. It was lonely here. Hopefully tinny will be ...

The Christmas toddy is in the crock on the front porch doing its magic. Apples cloves, sugar, bourbon, brandy and rum. Something to keep you warm on cold winter evenings.

Like that Molson Canadian. Go Bills.

I'm headed over to the Inverness Brewing in Monkton Md. A new Baltimore County brewery in the stables of a farm where an ex Denison laxer used to live.

C'mon Smelly you can do it. Subjective is good, it creates talk. Gotta like the E8 picks. St JF up there and Wick at 52 right alongside NESCACer Bowdoin. Naz at 176? Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Re: Gone Fishing

Anyone here a fly fisherman? Only way to fly (fish) Haven't caught a TUNA yet, but plenty of strippers So that's how to get 'em. Did you use a Zebra Midge? I heard all you needed was some sweet talk, a few drinks and a load of cash. I always heard fly fishing was good for yellow tail snappers. Have...

Re: LIBERTY LEAGUE 2019

It took SLU a while to get their offensive rotations figured out. Once they had it down they looked good. They lost two games last year that they should not have and those games kept them out of the tournament. I would look at them as the #2 team this year and they have been giving RIT fits so who k...

E8 2019

So many changes in the last couple of years and more to come with Stevens leaving. So there are lots of questions. Will Naz regain their past stature? Will St JF, Alfred and Hartwick continue to move forward to the next level? Will Utica, Elmira, and Houghton step up at all? Will there be other move...

Re: What you doing this weekend?

Golf buddies are coming North for next weekend. We will be playing the golf club at Newport NY. A real hidden gem and in the middle of nowhere. Geoffrey Cornish design and lots of fun. We'll also take a tour of the F. X. Matt brewery with samples. Then visit the Woodlands brew pub with samples. I su...

Re: Nike Signs Kaep

And who do we blame for all the whites in Maine, West Virginia, and other r states who are on the dole? What a crock. Themselves and Democrat victimhood/entitlement programs. We aren't an equal society. Yes we all have equal opportunity to succeed, some have it harder than others but the opportunit...

Re: Nike Signs Kaep

Hang out at the corner of Greenmount and 25th for a couple of years and tell me about opportunity and what life you would like to be born into. I D Ten T. So emotional. So riveting. So untrue. You can change your path if you truly want to. Stop being a victim and making excuses. A world and culture...
