Re: Tufts Lacrosse Rhabdo Hospitalizations
Unless anyone here has direct information from the team or the ongoing investigation, I think we should wait to make judgements until then. The fact three players are still hospitalized is concerning and hope they recover soon. Doing some research, it looks like the team had completed previous work...

Re: Tufts Lacrosse Rhabdo Hospitalizations
Assuming there were coaches or athletic trainers watching, did they try to stop the SEAL grad from pushing players past exhaustion and puking or just watch it happen? Based on how the NESCAC operated in the past there wouldn't have been coaches or trainers present. Maybe it's changed, my reference ...

Re: Tufts 2025
Has anyone found out what the players 'actually' did in that (reported, not confirmed) 45 minute workout? My inside sources are saying the workout consisted of 45 mins of continuous physical activity past the point of exhaustion. So, was it as heinous as some probably think? No, but I am unsure if ...

Re: Tufts 2025
I hope this incident forces some of these coaches to reevaluate their expectations for athletes at this level. This isn’t the Navy SEAL, Alabama football, or even Maryland lacrosse. There may be some things athletes do that won’t exactly help them on the field but again it’s D3. Hope all the athlete...

Re: Tufts 2025
While the important thing is the kids health, we should not rush to judgement without having ALL the facts which we dont know. Plenty of teams on all levels do grueling workouts and we dont hear of this and to have 12 players get this rare condition seems odd. Maybe i am wrong but seems like there ...

Re: Tufts 2025
Let’s just call a spade a spade. There are probably more tufts lacrosse alums that work at an investment bank/private equity than have completed BUD/S. I understand not wanting to be portrayed as that not being “ blue collar”. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, I’m sure more kids care about tha...

Re: Virginia 2023
Recently was talking with someone close to the program and heard that Tiffany is hoping to redshirt a few freshmen to maximize their time at UVA. Could Tiffany make Truitt and Terenzi take a year off for development? With so much depth at the midfield and attack, they could be better on scout team a...

Re: Washington & Lee 2022
What happened to Sheehan(#6)? Saw him produce in the first couple games, but hasn't really touched the field since. Great player out of the historic St. Paul's School in Baltimore and was lighting it up in the MIAA. He was not the primary player in high school, but he has the skills to takeover for ...

Re: ODAC 2022
With lynchburg competing in the mustang classic this weekend, HSC vs. Catholic seems like another good OOC matchup. HSC could prove itself as a top-tier team, and we can ignore their performance last weekend in lexington. Speaking of lexington, w&l faces RMC who could cause some problems. This w...
