Re: Syracuse 2024

I think its great for the game to have a competitive Cuse team  But I think they are at least another year away. With the schedule they play, I'm not sure where I see the additional wins until they can win more face-offs or stop teams from scoring. I hope to be wrong, but if they play the same sche...

Re: 2025 Recruitment

I was looking at the IL class rankings. I little surprised by the results.. Teams with 8 blue chips (4star and above) 1. ND - 11 (4 5 stars) 2. UNC- 9 (3 5 stars) 3. Michigan - 9 4. Hopkins - 8 5. Penn State - 8 It will obviously change, but Michigan and PSU being in there is surprising.. (Yes, I k...

Re: Recruiting

To be honest, sounds like you have done your research and have alot of information on all schools. But you're really splitting hairs here. Academically, Yale is the best. Lax wise, Dartmouth has the brightest future. In 3-4 years they will have the most talented team in their history. The Hapgood s...

Re: Recruiting

Surprised by BC's lack of action. They'll still get some top kids but a little odd 13 days in and nothing for a team that was in the national championship last year. Maybe the lack of playing time/developmemt got some of the recruits spooked? or is it BC's aggressive portal policy? Alot of these gi...

Re: NCAA reorg imminent

On second thought, Clemson doesn’t want the “success incentive” structure in the ACC after all.

Re: NESCAC

New England Lax Journal’s latest had Trinity’s Tarnow on. Around the 16:40 mark he briefly address’ 2022. And while he doesn’t go into anything specific regarding players leaving etc, he acknowledges there was a culture issue and personally owns doing a poor job as a coach detecting & handling ...

Re: NCAC 2024

Inside Lacrosse is not that accurate. Many commits don’t show up on schools’ committed lists. It is entirely dependent on self-reporting. Not a big deal, but I don't think this is an IL issue. I can't think of a reason why athletes would purposely announce their OWU commitment more slowly than some...

Re: NCAC 2024

OWU is off to a surprisingly slow start in signing '24 players with only one on board so far according to Inside Lacrosse. Their competition is faring better:
* Kenyon - 11 commits
* Denison - 8 commits
* Oberlin - 7 commits

It looks like GVA is parting ways with Colby. This is tricky timing as the team tries to complete its recruiting of the '24 HS class.

Re: Athletes Unlimited Season 3

I don't fully understand the AU points system, so I don't know what the gamesmanship is behind the picks. For example, Apuzzo never picked North for her team which could be because she knows that North would limit her ability to rack up points. I also notice that the large majority of the first pla...

Re: Athletes Unlimited Season 3

To be fair in another area, North never gets picked first, but she consistently goes 2nd, 3rd or 4th. 3rd for Team Mastro week 1 4th for Team Moreno week 2 2nd for Team Moreno week 3 3rd for Team Bosco week 4 Good to see your name back in the feed, ONW! I don't fully understand the AU points system...

Re: Athletes Unlimited Season 3

Lowest turnover to goals ratio? :lol: Aren’t you the same guy who gave me grief when I mentioned the assists to shots ratio? She scores the most goals, in part, because she takes the most shots. Can, you have her stats back to middle school. Tell me if she was ever on a team where she didn’t take t...

Re: Athletes Unlimited Season 3

Much better shooting the third when she didn’t force everything You are good to acknowledge that. I think it is fair to say that North's performance in the third quarter today was dominant. She racked up 4 goals (5 points) in a 7-minute span on 4-for-4 shooting. She was very physical and absorbed s...

Re: Athletes Unlimited Season 3

Almost scared to post this with September 1 coming up soon but CN has 11 shots in the first half. Most of them forces. 😬 Clearly when they talk about how many goals she scores in a season and she gets lauded as a top scorer they do not take into consideration how many actual shots she is taking…. I...
