Very good get for Hoyas. SSDM saw our top 3 boys graduate so definitely a position of need. Heard he is of the Hess mold, big, physical and can be dangerous in transition.

Re: Georgetown 2025
I would think the portal wish list at this point would be ssdm, pole and close defenders. If can land a starter or two there this team may be a lot better than rebuilding mode.

Re: TV Broadcasts/Announcers/Production
Sadly it continues in the PLL coverage - “he was born to shoot the rock”. Carc commenting on a 2pt goal by Chanechuck.

Re: Georgetown 2025
I think Bayman may add more than depth. From what I have been told he is very talented but just couldn’t break into the rotation given the ND attack talent. Also told he is a great locker room guy as well.
Carroll I believe will be back. Tominovich I don’t have any insight.

Re: The Best Goalie of all time D1
Doesn’t make them the greatest goalie by definition but If I had to pick one goalie to make an enormous, pressure save my top 3 would be
1) Quinn
2) Tilman Johnson
3) Schimoler

Re: TV Broadcasts/Announcers/Production
Coach Shriver who does HS games would be a great addition to these announcer teams.

Re: Georgetown 2024
Tremendous achievement for these young men. Two freshman and hopefully a grad year student in Carroll back for 2025. All players from every school fully deserving without question. In my mind though, Will Godine played at an AA level and could certainly have been in the HM list.

Re: Georgetown 2025
Of the incoming freshmen next year I believe the top ranked recruit we have is at FOGO and next two are defense. All top 50. If Carroll is back, I love him and Schubert at attack as the core. I think Schubert may be special. The rope unit is the biggest issue given graduations. Given what the coache...

Re: Georgetown 2025
Some very good athletes in the midfield group. Wonder if there could be a transition like Geddes, Hess etc. SSDM is clearly an unknown for next season.

Georgetown 2025
A lot to be proud of from the 2024 team. 2025 will be very interesting. A lot of great players leave but the young core of Moore, Banks, Wray, Crogan, Schubert and others lay a very good foundation. If Carroll is back for a grad year, other young players, a transfer or two and freshmen have an impac...

Re: Georgetown 2024
Hoyas had a great season. 6th straight conference title, tying the D1 record. Only team to beat the consensus #1 during regular season. Seeded playoff team. Beat a 2x consecutive FF team in first round. The issue continues to be how does this program get back to Memorial Day Weekend? Is this a team ...

My response was more in regard to the backup fogos comment. Agree he doesn’t need a translator as this entire thread is in the same language.chuckbuckthecanuck wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 4:22 pm I know he does and Rolldodge gave a sound response to a respectful question....I don't think that he needs a translator.

Re: QF #1 Notre Dame vs #8 Georgetown Saturday @ noon
Rolldodge, You remind me of Hoyaboy, regardless of agreement or disagreement you are always a gentleman. I don’t think that SkipPass was contradicting himself. My interpretation of his post is that personnel refers to the quality of players that GU recruits and who get on the field. I believe his p...

Re: Georgetown 2024
I didn’t notice it in real time, but watching the on line video of the game, Schubert had a look away feed to the crease for a goal that was ridiculous. Whether he was hurt or just needed time to come into his own I have no idea. But he definitely brings a dynamic to the offense the Hoyas did not ha...

Re: Georgetown 2024
had asked on game thread but only seeing live stats it appeared neither goldberg or cesare played. They've grown a lot this year and while not stars seem improtant to their success. did neither play last week? They both played limited minutes. Shubert is the one glaring difference the Hoyas have no...
