Re: ***********The MIAA "A" Conference 2023**************

St Mary's has to avoid 2 recent, big problems- A May collapse, and struggling to win games in AA Co. If the Saints want to win the MIAA they need to figure out how to take care of business in their own back yard. St Mary's has not beaten Spalding since 2019 and own just one 1-goal win over Severn i...

Re: **********The MIAA "A" Conference 2022**************

Somebody in this thread predicted Severn would be this years Spalding. I wonder who? 8-)

McD will bounce back. We’re giving them grief for losing a one goal game to arguably the best team in the MIAA.

Congrats to JC I was wrong about the team not improving.

Re: **********The MIAA "A" Conference 2022**************

Big week for conference play this week. McD has St.Mary’s and Hall. Sleeper matchup of the week is Severn and BL. I think BL wins it but Severn is going to make it a game.

Re: **********The MIAA "A" Conference 2022**************

Towson- nice stadium, but too big. Hopkins- nostalgic venue, parking and Baltimore city are awful Navy- beautiful stadium, stands are on top of the field, ample parking, state capital, patriotic feel Navy has been the best of the sites thus far. Loyola could also be a great site in the future. Tows...

Re: **********The MIAA "A" Conference 2022**************

Does anyone know if John Carroll is improving with keeping top Harford County prospects at home? That should be the #1 priority for them. I don’t think so. I’m sure they’re still getting a decent amount of local players but not enough to make an impact. Until John Carroll starts to actually win gam...

Re: **********The MIAA "A" Conference 2022**************

I think Severn has a good run this year. I think they’ll be this years Spalding. I don’t think they will go to the championship like Spalding but I do think they get a few quality wins and make a decent run. In this league it’s all about who can get hot in May.

Is it too early for projections? I’m going with McD and BL in the championship.

Re: **********The MIAA "A" Conference 2022**************

My next question is: what venue have you enjoyed the most for the MIAA Championships throughout the years? Feel free to give your reasoning, too. Hopkins' Homewood Field? Navy's Navy Marine-Corps Memorial Stadium? Towson's Johnny Unitas Stadium? UMBC Stadium? Hopkins was always good IMO. I’d like t...
