Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
Former UMBC M/SSDM/LSM Colby Weishaar is transferring to @jhumenslacrosse, a source tells @Inside_Lacrosse. The versatile defender caused 8 TOs & scooped 12 GBs. Blue Jay DC Jamison Koesterer recruited him to Catonsville. https://x.com/terencefoy/status/1804923809696264238?s=61&t=NKsUTfjxZ1...

Re: TV Broadcasts/Announcers/Production
If you think Quint is polarizing get ready for Jake Marsh who Rabil is probably going to push hard for next spring at the college level. Rabil is getting him all kinds of PLL broadcasting experience this summer and going to work the phones to get him a fulltime role like Carc/Quint have earned with ...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
Joe Tsai wealthier than David Cordish et al. Unfortunately for lax MB has not spent on athletics yet. Hopkins lacrosse is 141 years old or whatever. If they don't have the resources it's on the program, the athletic department, and University leadership for some of the comments Daniels has made and...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
I remember when Hopkins built the Cordish center and thought to myself, man how is anyone going to compete with this....After looking at all of the new facilities and in particular the new one going up at UVA, the cordish center seems outdated....Crazy to see how things are changing The problem wit...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
The portal stuff is done. The staff is set. Other than a few last decisions on kids returning for 2024 there shouldn't be any program news until school starts and we find out if there were any last minute roster changes right? The Staff is set and I suppose there could be news around the 25 commits...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
This was probably the right move for team and staff cohesion. It's not as exciting as bringing in a buzzy name from the outside but like any workplace it's important that they set a precedent that it's possible to get promoted from within. PM and Kelly will add new wrinkles to the offense but it'll...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
This is now PM as OC (again). He was also OC when he took over from John Grant early to mid season of Jrs. departure season and I’m not sure the results warranted PM assigning himself the duties again. However there is something to be said for stability. I think this is a tiny bit unfair. The basic...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
Is Hop just bumping everyone up and keeping the hire in house? And Milliman would be more hands on with the offense? I've heard from a few people now that this is a strong possibility Credit to HF16 and JerrysWorld for predicting this. PM's next extension now becomes completely about how he persona...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
Losing assistants to HC jobs is the sign of a healthy and successful program. Good luck to John and thanks for a great run at JHU. Petro has taken a beating for awhile especially on his recruiting but this is a validation of him, someone this young rushing through the ranks. I think one of you ment...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
The Crawley news conference ! An in person lacrosse coaching news conference !!! is up on the HPU athletics website. Did a nice job of thanking everyone. Good luck to him. The only certainties I know about the new oc search are that there will be typos in the inside lacrosse reports and quint will h...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
Too much OC change as of late Look at the rest of the university, every 5 minutes a Provost or Dean gets a job as a President of another college or something. This is Johns Hopkins. Crawley's 7 years out of Hopkins and going to his 4th job. This was a man in a hurry. Lee "Fastest man in the ga...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
I also don't know the portal rules, but my guess is that Crawley now can not "bring" kids he recruited to hopkins who may want a fresh start "with him to hpu" or if he'll now be competing with PM for staff or recruits he may have been seeking to bring to homewood.

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
Crawley leaves a very strong legacy over his 6 years -They won his first game-I believe against OSU his freshman year where he contributed points and he had a very strong career including a ff -He got the team back to 2 qfs in 2 years with an offense that struggled badly under 2 previous coordinator...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
If you find a 15 foot chain link fence circling your campus to keep the crack dealers out appealing, than yes it is beautiful. No such thing exists? What are you talking about. The only fence on campus is the one at the construction site for the state of the art student center opening up next year ...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
The biggest questions in order Questions - probably not in order -The entire ssdm position. You've got 2 names there who have d1 experience. Need 3-4 more from within given potential for inconsistency and unfortunately injury. Maybe they do what they did with Jaronski/Raposo, grab from a position o...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2025
At this point, Brooks has been injured multiple years in a row from beginning with his high school days. Might be optimistic to think he'll be back to top form for an extended period of time? There's a lot of wishful thinking offensively on this forum. I'm waiting for Stevens 2025 lookaheads where ...
