Re: Johns Hopkins 2020
I don't care if you're going after me, but I'm more interested in where you think the solutions are coming from on the problems we see year in year out because they don't seem to have them at clc. Nobody's going after you anymore than you go after the lacrosse players, most of whom you have made it...

Re: Big Ten 2019
Delaneys replacement gets unveiled tomorrow (he was there 30 years). I'm sure it won't be in the press conference as to things he's asked about but it'll be an eventual step towards clarity on the longterm fate of lacrosse and perhaps Hopkins place in it.

Re: Johns Hopkins 2020
Hopkins advances. Now playing at 845 tonight. Semifinals. Wait, but I thought Daniels and Shanahan were the scourge of Hopkins athletics and solely responsible for the continued failure of every program and that everything is ruined forever, again, because of them? Re: Johns Hopkins 2020
C’mon folks. We’re falling behind around here. Let’s up the page count! https://i.giphy.com/media/NFA61GS9qKZ68/giphy.gif Next week we get the lookaheads showing we lose 2 ssdms, an lsm, and an attackman. In august a kid most of us have not heard about will decommit and another who played 1 game wi...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2020
If concannon and foley come back-and those are 2 big iffs. That's what only 4 spots an attackman (whose spot could be filled by baskin/keogh/forry), 2 ssdms and an lsm open for this freshman class incoming plus sophs that didn't play? I dont really remember off hand how many veterans over the years ...

-I know navy is an important rival but how do you leave off a UVA program that is also a rival and now a national champion for the midshipmen on the schedule next year? That's life when you (and your rivals) join a conference. You trade schedule flexibility for the AQ. Coulda remained independent, ...

-Congrats to UVA and Penn State on their seasons. Tiffany/father connection and the picture of Tambroni with his kids were my 2 favorite moments of the weekend. -IL posted that there are kids-none of ours in the ncaa transfer portal already. Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
JHU has one big recruiting advantage that folks haven't mentioned. Its historical prowess and location give it the opportunity to have one of the strongest, if not the strongest, strength on schedule annually. Good players want to play the best on the biggest stage. I mentioned that, but you're for...

Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
Kuhn, marr-who cost them the penn state game, danny jones-too much of a hot head for a sr leader. No I won't miss them because the win/loss results speak for themselves. If you're not going to miss Kuhn then you're even more obtuse than previously thought. You're in a for a rude awakening next year...

Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
I agree with every word of steelhops post above. you take the acc, and maryland-Hopkins peer group and stack them up over the last decade and say how does Hopkins rank? Ahead of what, maybe syracuse-that's it. then you add in the yales, towsons, loyolas, denvers and now penn states that have flashed...

Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
The program through their social media has asked fans to fill out a survey on hopkinssports.com about the game day experience. they will be "awarding" or punishing depending on your point of view, one participant with 2020 season tickets. Petro did not do an end of season news conference a...

Virtually every call I receive from area code 410 is asking ... WE WANT MORE! ... of your money. yes 410-516-3421 is the number, usually week nights between 7-8 and sunday afternoons 2-8. Blocked. Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
we've had 11 years of top 10 classes, in most cases top 5 or the number 1 class and results that don't match the rankings (where have you gone henry grass, drew supinski and so many others), not sure why we should get excited about new kids when mays tend to end with pre preakness 5+goal thrashings....

Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
A friendly suggestion....for 2020 why not retire the "fallout shelter" moniker? Too negative! Start the positive mojo now. You're Hopkins! The greatest program in lacrosse history! When the big and traditional teams are strong: Jays, Orange, Heels, etc..., the entire landscape is more ent...

Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
Everyone wants to blame the fans, no wants to hold anyone accountable for 2-7 against teams that made the ncaa tournament, 208 goals surrendered, 8 losses, negative 14 goal differential, 55th in gbs per game-are we still lamenting the loss of matt rewkowski, 60th in saves, 58th in scoring defense-da...

Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
I don't get the feeling of loss about any of these players (marr had a terrible senior year and I mentioned preseason for the son of one of the better coaches in the game plays with a low iq and lack of emotional self control), particularly the guys on the defensive end, or the hope that new faces a...

Re: THE Hopkins Lacrosse Fallout Shelter (44, we want more!)
they had a negative 14 goal differential for the season and gave up 208 goals. those have to be 2 of the worst in program history along with the 8 losses on the season. Yes I know they play more games now, but in 2013 they were plus 52 giving up 109 goals, 2010 plus 8 giving up 144. Too many seasons...
