Re: Colonial Athletic Association 2022
Wonder what next year will be like with a new configuration. Assuming FFD is gone it’s SBU, HOf, Drexel, Del and Towson correct? Is that enough for an AQ? Those five, with Monmouth and Hampton bringing up the rear, so for the time being, it’ll be 5 teams competing for the 4 CAA tournament spots. Fr...

Re: Towson
Any one of three teams could win it, the 4th, host, is just there as a punching bag. The ol' reverse psychology trick. If there was a league where the "punching bag" could win, it's the CAA. Every team in this league is beatable this year, just not a very strong league across the board.

CAA Trny pairings https://caasports.com/news/2022/4/30/2022-caa-mens-lacrosse-championship-field-set.aspx Expecting a close game on Thursday. Saturday it looked like the team wasn't playing for anything, as they played sloppy for the majority of the game. Was good to see them fight back after a 5 g...

Re: Colonial Athletic Association 2022
If Umass and Fairfield leave, are both ineligible for Aq? Just like StonyBrook this year. Do they play in conference tournament or are they fully excluded would be the next question for the conference tournament if this is actually set in stone. I don't think either school has came out and official...

Re: Towson
Great win and the most complete game they have played all year. Brennan and Smith were outstanding, but Zungailia played great as well I thought - his length is rare and causes so many problem. And the D middies played well too, Sillah as a shorty was a nice sight to see. Offensively, the middies go...

-Watching Rutgers it felt like this is what Towson wants to look like. A gritty public school program playing with energy and efficiency across the field. Re: Towson
Way to gut it out and get the win up in Philly. Faceoffs were huge, especially with the amount of turnovers they committed. As stated by many before, the faceoff wins have such a trickle down effect and gave the defense a little more rest. Moving forward, they will need to clean up the silly turnove...

Re: Towson
So the Towson board becomes like the Oscars overnight. Seriously, those of us who are fans, we want the best for this team and program. It starts on Saturday in Philadelphia. But because some of us care, mediocrity or less is unacceptable. We're 3-6 and have played one very good game against Loyola...

Re: Towson
This team has given up 6 goals to a player in 4 of 6 losses. Denver’s Jack Hannah was on everyone’s preseason AA list He had 6 goals yesterday. Last week ONeil had 6 goals for Duke. My point don’t let the best players beat you! After 3 goals, don’t you say - hey maybe we should play him tight? Hann...

Re: Towson
Don’t you have Weisshaar coming in next year ? Some good talent in the prior two classes, but, Zach Goodrich’s don’t just fall of trees. Those 2016-2017 players aren’t falling through the cracks any more, or at least not nearly as much. Yes, he is perhaps the biggest recruit they have ever gotten o...
