Re: Orange Duce
Maybe. Ideally, you'd like to go out on a high note. Start strong (they did with Pecker) and end strong. A paper witness would be blah. But you can't always orchestrate things as you'd necessarily like. Like your family, you can't pick your witnesses.

I sure hope he gets Mexico to pay for that wall. I am still pissed at the Mexicans for not paying for Trump's wall.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 11:43 am he will crush whomever is left on the Egyptian border before walling off the land and making it very difficult for any of the Palestinians to come back.

Re: Orange Duce
The part of Cohen's upcoming testimony that most intrigues me is what he will say about what he and Trump knew about the falsification of the business records. It seems to me the prosecution has already abundantly proven the records were false, but that all they have to date is inferences and common...

How long until we hear that Roger Stone has joined the campaign as well?
Rumor has it he removed the Nixon tattoo from his back and replaced it with a Trump tattoo. You know, as insurance for the next pardon he will assuredly need.

It was such a stellar idea to stage the Stormy Show, they're not calling Karen McDougal. Make America Horny Again. Karen McDougal I think was always a backup if things didn't go well with Daniels. I think the prosecution is feeling very good about how things went yesterday. Why the defense is so ex...

Re: 2024 Women’s Tewaaraton Watch List
I’m not agreeing or disagreeing it is right or wrong. It happens a lot, not just with Masera. It’s really not that big of a deal to me. My point is simply that I don’t think the classification made any difference to the committee.

Re: 2024 Women’s Tewaaraton Watch List
I understand why the classification may make a difference for All American lists where there are limitations on the number of slots per position, but I don’t see how the classification (or misclassification if you will) impacts the Tewaaraton. I think the committee would have named Masera a finalist...

Re: 2024 Women’s Tewaaraton Watch List
I’m not understanding the significance of the classification or misclassification of a player as a midfielder if she primarily or even exclusively plays attack. What does that have to do with her being named by the committee as a finalist? Certainly they focused on her play on the field and not whet...

Will be interesting to see how this list tracks with the Tewaaraton finalists which are supposed to be announced today.
Re: 2024
The judge need not send Trump to any of the jails in Manhattan such as Rikers. He could order him to be confined in the holding cells in the courthouse. He could, in the first instance, impose a jail sentence of, say, six hours. Hold Trump in a courthouse cell after court has finished for the day an...

Re: Coaching Carousel 2024
Agree about Robinson. I have long thought he's the best HS glax coach out there. And there are some real good ones. He's a triple threat. He can recruit, teach, and is a good in game coach. Good motivator as well. What he did at McDonogh will never be duplicated. You'd have to think he's been approa...

For starters, ONW, you are a fraud. You claim you don’t read my posts, yet you repeatedly comment on them. Now to the issue at hand. Well, ol’ bean, you really stepped in it this time. Violated your own precept of “read first, post second.” Here is the initial post you claim to have been referring t...

Where did you see the all tournament team? The All ACC regular season teams were announced on the 23rd. Is that what you’re looking at? 2024 ACC All-Tournament Team Sydney Scales, Boston College (MVP) Rachel Clark, Boston College Shea Dolce, Boston College Belle Smith, Boston College Cassidy Weeks,...

I don't know who mentioned it earlier but it was a good observation. Kayla Treanor doesn't look well. Noticeably thinner. Just stop with the negative comments about female appearances. You got sent to the sin bin by admin once for similar comments about a year and a half ago. You obviously didn’t l...

Re: 2024 HS season
Winding back a couple of days .... Anyone notice that the CIAC mandates that a game only have a maximum of two overtime periods? Yep, New Canaan and Darien finished in a 5-5 tie after some wonderful and tense lacrosse. The game was leveled in the last ten seconds of regulation. Overtime had some te...
