Re: Coaching Hot Seats
Coach Stephenson is a good man, Lowell was lucky to have him. He will land somewhere great and continue to teach young men to be men.

Re: Dallas dropping lacrosse
Maybe it was the wrong guy to build a program with? Lot's of experience, but not in that area of the world... Maybe he just wasn't going after the right kids?

Re: NESCAC
Do you have to be on a top tier team to make this All-NESCAC list? Usually yes. Once in a while a player that proved exceptional on a bad team sneaks in, but most years it is the top teams taking all spots. Thirded - it's unfortunate that Barnard and Woods had such strong seasons in the same year t...

Or.... Joe Conner, Associate HC for 4 years. Has helped Dartmouth start to turn corner.Callahan could be interesting in the parallel to Rock Sowell leaving Dart after some success to try and build the St Johns program after it came back from a long hiatus as a D1 program.

Providence...
What about either John Svec or Brett Holm? Both are on staff down the road at Brown. Svec has HC experience. Holm was an assistant at providence a few years back.

Re: Coaching Carousel D3 2022
Check out a few posts back on the Wooster BGA IG page. He said a word that you probably don't want to say in a "culture discussion." According to the Wooster student paper, "the head coach was temporarily suspended and sentenced to six months of DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) ...

Re: Coaching Carousel D3 2022
I must have missed this, what happened? That is a good job and would attract a strong pool of coaches if they open it up.Wooster - Interim - Coach was let go midseason

Re: NESCAC
Haefele is a good candidate if the AD is willing to go with a younger coach. Toomy might fit that model as well. I also wonder if McCabe would look favorably on a change of venue and a chance to recharge the program at his alma mater. Haefele could be good. But does the new AD go with the Lasagna c...

Re: Conference comparisons
Since the ACC is technically not a conference with no AQ, doesn't that technically mean that ALL the ACC teams are actually bubble teams in terms of their selection to the tournament? GOBIGRED Joewillie78 Well said. And totally agree with other posts, no matter how many teams are in, there will alw...

Re: NESCAC
Let's just say this is Coach Lasagna's final season.... First ballot Hall of Famer as a coach and a human.
Season ends... Who is the right fit in Lewiston? Because Maine and especially Lewiston is an acquired taste. Is there an alum out there? Former Assistant (too bad Bowdoin snatched Mason..)?

Re: Colby
Spring Break - leave Maine. Before GVA Colby always traveled for break and were able to play strong out of region opponents. I believe that the Maine teams need to help each other, and Colby needs to learn how to win games. It is the job of the coaching staff is to develop a schedule that accomplish...

Re: NESCAC
Will Peter Lasagna retire? Often asked question as of late. Probably not, although I wouldn't be surprised. He's been in the game for a long time, this is definitely not the type of season he was looking at for his last. If this is his last, well then we are seeing the end of a great coaching era, ...

Out of coaching, found something that pays better with less headaches.Has anyone heard where Coach Senator went at Franklin Pierce? He’s no longer listed on their website or roster just their GA.. very weird how it happened so quickly and quietly at the beginning of the season…
