The coaching is great. It’s the talent that’s just not there. The coaching is maximizing what they are working with. They are “being the best” they can be.

If we can beat Hopkins to win the B1G is a huge triumph for the coaches and program. It would be totally maxing out potential for this group

Lining up nicely for a B1G championship which is a huge coaching achievement with this group.

Doesn’t say much about the education, IQ or critical thinking skills of those schools administrators that willingly and enthusiastically signed the iron-clad acc grant of rights.

It’s an exciting part of the game. I think it has outsized impact though. Don’t know how to fix it . Maybe every 2 goals have a face off ?

At this point the games for all the flawed contenders are to figure out how to maximize strengths and cover weaknesses for the tournament. UMD has the greatest potential for improvement but the great potential just hasn’t fired on all cylinders.

The offense was great from the second quarter on. The PSU goalie was standing on his head in the second quarter. The Terps are finally whipping the ball around with no drops and apparently have the green light on fast breaks again. Tillman has shortened the rotation.

Everybody is flawed and everybody is a contender. The talent is spread around and nobody is playing at a consistent and high quality level.
