Re: Best Examples Of DI Coaches Who Do More With Less?
Corrado of Villanova. Not a fully funded program, less then stellar facilities yet he gets the recruits, consistently in the top 20 and regularly has wins against a few top 10 teams. This is my sneaky underrated answer No doubt because of Simon Conor… Good call with Corrado of Villanova! What a sha...

Re: Long Island 2024
Interesting game today. South Side beat Cold Spring Harbor 13-9. Refs threw a lot of laundry, mostly on CSH. When was the last time CSH stated a season 0-2? South Sides FOGO helped tilt the field in their favor. Some very good players on both squads. SS just made more plays work.

Re: Hobart 2024
I would love to see that ... but keep poles. Also agree on winter lacrosse, though by late March yesterday could have been a beautiful day. Agree, keep the men's game the same, just put the women's heads on the stick. Would really be a much better game if that were to happen. Truer to the game, muc...

Re: Hobart 2024
Did you think Bart got away with some warding off today? I sure did (not complaining about it). Seems as if refs have forgotten about that call....see Duke. Pretty hard for me to imagine that the refs would favor Cuse up at the Boz. Ok... what do you call taking an obvious goal away with no explana...

Re: Hobart 2024
Mixed feelings on this game. Happy with the first half. But some missed coverage that gave Cuse easy goals. It seems that we are down quite a few players looking at who played today. To keep the game as close as we did with not much available depth is to be commended. Wilson and the D kept Spallina ...

Re: Hobart 2024
Complete BS call by the refs taking that goal of at the end of Q1. No explanation of why? Refs are tipping their hand early. It didn't go in, was a mom goal. Bart playing well though, Datellas and Patterson specifically. THe video replay showed it in. Refs have yet to call a push from behind on Cus...

Re: Hobart 2024
Just watched UMass lose to a previously winless Brown. Brown HC asked for a stick check on UMass FOGO after he won a faceoff and scored. Goal wiped off and 1 min penalty. Just a reminder to all that refs can and will check any and all sticks on the field, including those lying on the sideline. That...

Hill @ McDonogh is Hill's 4th game in 5 days. They may be a bit worn down. Any game feedback is appreciated.

Re: Hobart 2024
There's a not so friendly post on the Syracuse thread about the upcoming game. Maybe a little additional motivation for the team? Either way, I sure hope we can score more than Duke did last night. We'll certainly need to move the ball better than they did. Our D may need to go in and out of a zone ...

Re: Atlantic 10 2024
I agree that Hobart should look at players in the portal. Though it will be a lot quieter after this season. I'd guess 70% of the transfers were guys using their extra year. Unless your a medical redshirt, or a player who just isn't happy where they started, there will be a lot fewer quality players...

Re: ~Loyola University Greyhounds 2024~
True, recruiting to the Charm city area can be more appealing than CNY. Hobart is finally allowed to offer athletic scholarships. We'll have the full 12.6 schollies to work with the '26 recruiting class. So, recruiting should become a bit easier. The big ? for Loyola is how satisfied are they with ...

Re: Hobart 2024
I wouldn't be surprised if the game is moved into the Dome at Bart. Neither coach wants to see their players on a wet, possibly icy field and suffering injuries. It would suck for the fans as there is very limited access. Player safety comes before fam access imo. Absolute worse case scenario is we'...
