Re: Hobart 2024

Flip the table? For a coach who won’t go to the TP, all I can see is a mass exodus after this disastrous season. not sure the transfer portal is necessary for us. We are a team that needs to play 30-35 kids. We have to win with the system, not the horses. I think what Fl-Go is saying is that he exp...

Re: Hobart 2024

Bad day to have a sub-par shooting, especially in the first half. HPU's goalie came up with some big saves late. Hobart's reputation for leaving guys alone on the crease is intact. 3 of High Point's goals were from guys left open on the crease. Not sure, but I think Sam Ward has a medical redshirt y...

Re: Coaches On The Hot Seat 2024

I'm sure there's a major financial consideration to consider but hard to think Raymond isn't on a major hot seat. Hobart has taken some major steps backwards and look overwhelmed in the A-10. I was waiting to see if someone other than a Hobart fan would write something. Don't disagree with it eithe...

Re: Hobart 2024

Chandler and Winterbottom are both 6'2", B Johnson 6'2". Remember, the data you see on the recruiting profiles are from when they commit, which these days is the beginning to middle of their junior year in high school. A lot changes over the next 2 years for most.

Re: Hobart 2024

I caught some of a Hobart game and the teams seems very small, outside of that giant attackman. Looking at your roster there are a lot of 5'8"-5-10" size guys. The A10 isn't one of the top conferences but even there I can't imagine a lot of athletes that size will be competitive against b...

Re: Hobart 2024

RFP78, I don't think anyone expects us to return to the elite "good old days" of Hobart being a one of the top programs in college lacrosse in the short term. What a number of us do expect is for the team to not have seasons like we had last year and then having it extend into this season....

Re: Hobart 2024

That '72 team was a killer also. In the old Laxpower days, Rick Gilbert came on line for a little Q&A. I believe that is him from Hobart's web site, 444 Career points, astounding ! ________________________________________ gilbert.jpg Rick used a wood stick his whole career. If I remember correc...

Re: Hobart 2024

For the players that might be reading our comments - we are just a bunch of old dudes who remember ourselves as being better than we were. The season is your control. Hip Hobart! You mean some guys who have 3 or 4 national championship rings? Yea when they were division 3 and not nearly as many col...

Chemotti and Cassese would both be top candidates for the Duke HC job. I think Dino Jr. isn't quite ready. Though Caputo taking over with Dino Jr. sticking around would provide some continuity for the players and recruits.

Re: Long Island 2024

CSH lost to Huntington 10-5. CSH's starting goalie jaw was broken pre-game. His back-up, a freshman I think, looked over whelmed. The Seahawks offense looked slow and didn't generate many good shots on cage. This might not be there year for another D class title.

Re: Hobart 2024

I have to disagree Doesn’t the coach saying “ players should play harder” Must count as an them being accountable!!! Coach also said he was ok with FOGOs going early. I think Raymond is starting to be aware of how thin the ice is. Yes the players have yet to play a complete game against higher qual...
