Easier said than done. Wagner first. Never look past anyone. Gate will be looking for revenge after they felt they let last years game slip.

Re: Hobart 2019
I'm surprised Matt Pedicine wasn't drafted by anyone in the MLL. Maybe he didn't put his name in or is focused on the PLL. Anyone have any insights?

Re: Inside Lacrosse rankings
They beat Hobart 18-17 in OT. This was when the D II & D III championship was combined.

Re: Hobart 2019
Wow! 2 games into the season and by early reviews we have more offensive depth than I expected. Surprised Justin Scott is #13 on scoring. Hope Brad Simas starts connecting. I have high hopes for both of them and all the offense.

Re: Hobart 2019
The team is finally practicing in the new indoor facility. It will give them a better (warmer/dryer) place to work on the spacing as things looked a bit jumbled v Canisius. Hopefully Justin Scott can get himself back in gear. he was our leading goal scorer last yer and had some clutch performances. ...

Just heard there is a chance the Canisius game will be streamed. It's a matter of getting the links.

The game will not be streamed. The colleges do not have a link to the Pinnacle field.

Re: Hobart 2019
Made the journey to Hempstead to watch Hofstra scrimmage. After 4 quarters it was 12-11 Bart. A fifth quarter was played with a final of 13-13. CJ White started in goal. and had stronger performance than against UM. It helped that we weren't mandown as much. Starting attack was Aslanian, Holden and ...

Re: Hobart 2019
I contacted the athletic department. They informed me that the bubble should be in use in the next 10-14 days. Also, I was told it was always a practice only facility. It was never designed to have spectators. Building an indoor facility with seating for fans cost quite a bit more.

Re: Hobart 2019
The indoor facility was always going to be a practice facility. It was never supposed to support spectators. As far as the lacrosse program goes, things are looking up. The Michigan scrimmage was a good start. Tied at 12 with starters in for both sides through Q3. 16-16 final. Scrimmage at Hofstra t...

Re: Cornell 2019
Ask the players and coaches at Hobart and Cornell if the game isn't a match-up of real importance. The most played rivalry in lacrosse is always a brawl.

Re: Hobart 2019
2019 schedule has been released. We replace Georgetown and PSU with Vermont and St. Bonnies . Personally, I'd rather see the team keep the Hoyas and the Nittany Lions. No offense to our new additions. https://hwsathletics.com/news/2018/12/11/hobart-lacrosse-statesmen-announce-2019-lacrosse-schedule....

Well, at least we know our first real game opponent for the 2019 season. We play Canisius at home on 2/9/19. Of of course, CNY weather permitting.

Re: Hobart 2019
A (incomplete) recruit update. All gleaned from Twitter. Since LP's demise, IL has tried to pick up the slack. A lot of recruits have NOT submitted their commitments to IL and chosen Twitter or Instagram. Here are a few fairly recent ones. John Herlihy 2019 Mid, Lincoln Sudbury MA Jack Grooms 2019 A...

IL article on the stadium dedication to Coach Urick. Good to see IL giving Coach Urick and Hobart some props. Who knows, maybe IL will be a bit more positive to Hobart this season. Of course we have to back it up with a good season/record. https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/photos-hobart-names-s...

Re: Northeast Conference
St. Joe's graduated a lot and Bryant had key players (Massa) graduate as well. RMU & SHU have some top quality players. Mt. St. Mary's players are coming into their own. Wagner graduated a couple of their top scorers. My Statesmen need to turn around last year's disaster. A complete re-evaluatio...
