Re: Centennial Conference 2024
Swarthmore IMO is doing it the right way and their results the last two years are awesome. They went from a middle of the conference team to legit Top 10/20 outputs. Many, many teams have fallen to the Gulls. It's not new. The lessons there are immense. I really think you all can be a southern NESCA...

Thank you CNU! Our game is so incredible. That was a tough matchup for our dudes. Give em hell the rest of the way!

Re: CNU 2024
CNU community! I know you didn't have a choice in the matter, in terms of playing Cabrini, but I'm still thankful for the contest. Best of luck tomorrow and in the seasons to follow. Great things to come for your Captains. MT is a gem.

Re: Centennial Conference 2024
Coach Webster ROBBED of COY. 3-straight CCs. Participation trophy all too common nowadays. So...3-straight CCs. Is this a lifetime achievement award? With the returners Webster had, he was expected to win the CC. MVP- agreed 100%, but you had the wrong fan that got all bent out of shape about COY. ...

Not a good sign for your program's chances if you find yourself fretting about COY.

Re: W&L 2024
It was such a great environment. People in the area seemed to really rally around this small mountain college as it took on some of the sport’s most mainstream brands. It’s unfortunate, but I don’t see any small colleges being able to garner crowds like that in any sport in this day and age. Kids d...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
In years past, Gulls have torn through their side of the bracket and encountered a worthy program in the final. But even in dominant years they've gotten some great tests before that. Noke, Denison, plenty of others have shown out and made them really earn a title berth. They aren't undefeated in NC...

Re: CABRINI 2024
I tried to listen to it. One thing that Colf always did well is avoid taking the bait. I'm not sure he was ever recorded calling out an opponent/calling for an opponent. He used the opposing teams chatter as motivation though. He would take his medicine when we lost, and applaud the other team when ...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
Who has the hardest pod & who has the easiest? I think if Salisbury weren't a big favorite over the majority of the field we would say they got a tough draw - - three combined losses between the Gulls, Endicott, and Swarthmore. Tufts/Union/Stevenson could all advance out of that pod and it woul...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
Any hot takes for this weekend? Not a major fan of the back to back games for the quarters and semis but I do enjoy it for this weekend. 8 teams will be left by Sunday night... crazy. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say of the top teams that are being talked about as favorites (RPI, RIT, SU, Tufts),...

Re: CABRINI 2024
Should be an epic battle against CNU. I would expect the Cavs to make the necessary adjustments to counter the strong midfield play. They must also avoid unnecessary penalties and costly turnovers during transition. It is very fitting that the team with the “Burn The Boats” Theme this season is sta...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
I’m all for giving it to CNU because I feel like they have had an easier ride to a “dominant program” because of a few OT wins to a down Lynchburg program in the past few years. But this Saturday is cabrini’s last game as a program. While DeLuca has done well with this squad and situation, a 19-12 ...

Re: Liberty League 2024
RPI passed their gut check with flying colors. So tough to beat a team like RIT twice in a season. When RIT tied it in the 4th I thought the momentum had shifted enough to carry them. And the response to that energy was championship level. Fun team to watch.

Re: W&L 2024
Thankful the Generals get a shot at the NCAA’s once again. Don’t know much about Lake Forrest or Transylvania, but glad they get to continue to play. Very curious as to how the coaches manage the 5 days days between the ncaa announcement and the actual game on Saturday. The hope is you are playing ...

Re: NCAA Tournament 2024
Hot take of the week. CNU doesn't make it out of their pod. Not sure if Cabrini will get them, but when they literally have nothing to lose I can't wait to watch that one. Then they either have to play Stevens who has been rolling or Roanoke, a senior heavy team who is juiced to probably be the las...

Re: CABRINI 2024
Tough match up IMO. We'll need strong performances up the middle to make this a game. Our big little switches were not crisp on Saturday. CNU likes to run. Bear and Kirk are dawgs, but I don't know if either is a guy that can lockdown/corral Cook. Imagine we'll play a decent amount of zone on inboun...

Re: CABRINI 2024
Dear Cabrini, I love you. From the moment I stepped foot on your campus I knew you were my siren. Beautiful, but flawed. Intelligent, but occasionally under the influence. Like all my favorite things. At first, I found myself lost on your grounds. I was just a kid, I made mistakes. But you hardened ...

Re: Washington College 2024
You know, I think it's really hard to drive a new/unheralded program to success. There are lots of barriers; but, you don't have to deal with the historic expectations (inside and outside), alumni chatter, general impatience. I think it's harder to take one that reached the top and fell off, back up...
