Yep. Two terrible games in row for SU.

Re: Eclipse - fact or fiction

First experience was in 1969. I was taking SAT test at Gilman and walked outside afterwards to the strangest light I’d ever seen. This weekend we went to Boonville NY in the total area. The temperature dropped at least 10 degrees in 3 minutes and the darkness came in really quickly. We had heavy cl...

Re: Yale 2024

Good luck to the Eli's today against a very good and very dangerous Terriers team. Agreed. But... go BU! I love these midweek games as it gives us lacrosse junkies our fix as we wait for the great games on the weekend, especially when it's a great matchup like this one. Agreed. Last Tuesday night's...

It was remarkably refreshing.
I don't normally mind Q too much but if he mentions one more time that Degnon had Salmonella!

Re: Notre Dame 2024

Last time ND and Duke played prior to Sunday , brower delivered a brutal and intentional cheap Shot to ckav face. That kind of play was really bad for lacrosse . Let’s ignore that one . A current player on Cuse and member of team Canada cheapshotted 51 in Ireland 2 summers ago. 8 months of concussi...

Re: Notre Dame 2024

"history of that"? Guy has played hurt and through rough injuries. Might recall him banged up vs. Duke last year's final. This carping about these guys is cheap, and petty. They are leaders of the most team-oriented and best coached team in the sport. Don’t even bother. A bunch of sour gr...

Re: Syracuse 2024

Actually, some teams have tried to short Cormier but haven’t had much success with the strategy. Yes… you can have a straight finisher and be fine, if have some dodgers around him. Though UVa ride has suffered, compared to prior Lars teams. Tiernan (Michigan) and Cormier are at the top of the natio...

Re: Syracuse 2024

Had 2 shots w little angle in 2OT to win it . When you couple this, with the absence of March in the OT portion of the game....those were crucial ill-advised situational shots. It seems more like a summer ball offense mentality, which is not a bad thing, so long as discipline and situational awaren...

Re: Hobart 2024

Just watched UMass lose to a previously winless Brown. Brown HC asked for a stick check on UMass FOGO after he won a faceoff and scored. Goal wiped off and 1 min penalty. Just a reminder to all that refs can and will check any and all sticks on the field, including those lying on the sideline. That...

Dirty play by #10 I didn’t see it. Sorry. Maybe it happened. But I didn’t see it. And I don’t think anyone else watching on TV did either. I saw it on the last replay. Hard to say if it was intenational and he was holding his stick in one hand and running hard towards the ball pumping his arms. The...

Re: Syracuse 2024

Thomson played a nice game last night. Good for him after sub par performances so far this year.

Great having Stevens back what looks like 100% for obvious reasons.

Anyone know if Birt is still hurt? Looked as though he got dinged early in game and then didn't get back on field much after that.
