I'm sorry to be that guy. But this type of Bull S*** gives D2 lacrosse a black eye. This guy could be one of the the greatest guy in the world but he has no college coaching experience and he is jumping into a program that has been thru pre-season and now is travel to NC. Give me a brake!

I would have to pump the brakes on calling this a good hire. What type of coach takes a job after the season has started? Please, enlighten me. This mess is on the hands of the AD. Go Luck FIT up in NC.

Too bad FIT let a 1 goal game slip away at home. These are the types of games they need to be winning by one with all their experienced players. Looks like they maybe able to rebound catch BA and SH coming off opening day loses themselves.

Congrats to Coach Penn for landing a spot on the Tampa staff. Surprised the AD at FIT didn't have a non compete clause in place, at least for schools in the same conference for a year. Either, AD doesn't know is stuff or he thinks very poorly of Coach Penn and his abilities. Should be interesting to...

Heard thru the grapevine kids are already starting to de-commit from FIT and looking to attend schools like Embry-Riddle. This is a good sign for ER. I think they might surprise some people this season.

Interesting FIT got rid of TBD... the previous post by Fandad: "pick was made" and kids seem to like the pick" .......what's going on? Who was the pick and what happened? Or, was Wynne the choice all along?

Unique situation to say the least. FIT website still has Head Coach TBD, what does that mean? Wynne, coaching solo with limited resources doesn't seem like a sustainable situation.

Does anyone know if the team is practicing and who is coaching them? Talk about putting a team/program in limbo.

Please do lets us know. This person, according to the FIT schedule has a game in 3 weeks. Seems like a tough task of getting a staff together and players on board.

Not a good sign at all. Parents of current players should demand answers from this AD.

New coach working into a tough situation, disgruntled players, parents, alumni and covid to deal with. Needs to hit the ground running and get a coaching staff together. Should be interesting to say the least.

Jan 5 ? No news! What direction is FIT going? Seems like the AD is in a pickle.

This situation is beginning to look like the old bait and switch. AD and Admin dragging their feet promising an extensive look for new coach all the while just hold on for student -athletes to enroll and pay their deposit for the semester. Scary tactics for a financially strap school.
