Never felt the same about gambling after seeing the experience of a former teammate, a great, positive good guy who messed up his life in his late twenties by betting on NFL games. He lost several jobs, alienated his parents and brother and lost his wonderful wife.

Suggestions? They will always have flaws, but I'd say the sane Republicans are quite few these days, and unelectable in the current iteration of the party. Larry Hogan, perhaps?

Crazy arms race that's accelerating. Seems like increasingly some are losing their perspective of the big picture of schools educational mission of developing young people. It's kind of sad.

What to do?

Do their job and enforce the laws? Much bigger threat to not enforce the law, if for no other reason than the precedent that sets.
