Re: Landmark Conference 2024
I hope juniata can figure it out. Someone Could possibly build something there if stay for a bit . I am not sure Juniata supports athletics besides volleyball (the old AD had some connection there?). They are in the bottom half of the Landmark in almost every sport. Football has been terrible for o...

Last years big names, grade them. https://www.insidelacrosse.com/article/15-men-s-dii-diii-to-division-i-transfers-to-watch-in-2024/62441 I will give it a shot. I have no idea if any of these guys were injured this year. Going off season stats: Kurt Bruun, A, Tufts to Ohio State B- 14gp/3gs; 9g/4a/...

Swat advances and looks good vs a 16-1 Endicott squad.
How do they beat Salisbury? Serious question.

Re: Centennial Conference 2024
Matt2024 that is a very stupid take. Swat made a commitment to athletics 5 years ago. For example, men’s bball made it to the D3 Final Four recently. They are built like a NESCAC and get NESCAC/Patriot League level athletes. They are consistently adding full-time assistant positions. The coaching st...

Re: MAC 2024
Stevenson strength on O is their midfield (none of their attack are dodging threats).
York traditionally has excelled with their strong stable of D mids and LSMs.
How do we think those two units match up? Mentzer for York is a multiple AA at SSDM and Shields has been terrific as a two-way middie.

Re: Centennial Conference 2024
Men, we've reached the heart of conference play, where memories are made and sorrows are suppressed. As these ball clubs battle for CC supremacy, and the privilege to booze victoriously on Saturday, a few major story lines have emerged: Is it time to break out the pitchforks and torches in Lancaste...

What did the Shenandoah do to Roanoke to piss them off?!?
I was checking box scores and Roanoke took 83 freaking shots!
Is that normal for these ODAC games with top tier playing lower tier?

Re: Washington College 2024
WAC did their players a disservice hiring Nostrant. He is not a good coach for this program, it shouldn't matter what he did as a player. Third or fourth poster to make this claim. Can you be the first to provide color on why you think he is not a good coach? what is going wrong in Chestertown? Can...

Shelley is a good guy but that’s what happens when you have a part time head coach at D3.
If Kean ever invests in lacrosse they could be top 25 every year. Aka full time head coach.

Re: Roanoke 2024
I do like how they get kids from all over the country. I think the face off unit is where the problem will be. I hope I'm wrong. The midfield is another concern, lack of size and depth last year was an issue. They did not have a consistent big outside shooter to take some pressure off the attack. M...

Re: Can a D3 team without grad players win the National Title
I checked. Tufts didnt have any grads last season. They dominated the season and almost beat SU (a team stacked with 5th and 6th year) If it was all about 5th and 6th year players to win a natty, CNU has always had the most. They can even get to the final 4. With that said. SU bringing in 3 D1 tran...

DAMN - really like Lynchburg this year. Feels like their 2014 run to the National Championship game - crazy hard schedule and serious studs on both sides of the ball. Cant wait to hear how do vs UVA in the first scrimmage.

Re: 2024 Schedules
Who is going to make a chatAI program to determine which team has the toughest and easiest schedule? Just looking at some of the top 20 teams and how many other top 20 opponents they will have NESCAC has 7 teams in the top 20, so those schools will have a tough schedule. Tufts and Middlebury 9 game...
