Re: Cornell 2019
Ament is an amazing player, and the highlight Assist against Cornell, behind-the-back on the run, was extremely impressive. Pat Spencer is also a tremendous athlete. While it is early for the discussion, since IL has it's publicity machine out, I guess it's not too early. However Jeff Teat is recogn...

Re: Cornell 2019
R is for "rookie" in Ierlan's case? Hmmmm, a debatable point (okay, Ivy Newcomer). In any case, what a way to kick off conference play. Having seen Cornell dismantle Yale in the most recent ILT final, I have the utmost respect for the Big Red (great, knowledgeable fans, too, by the way). ...

Re: Cornell 2019
I have yet to see a box score, but it looked like Cornell had fewer assisted goals than usual. Actually least assisted goals was Lehigh game. And we're OFF last year's pace. Goals Assists % Assisted Hobart 19 11 58% Lehigh 14 7 50% Albany 17 12 71% Penn St 13 7 54% Towson 18 10 56% 2018 244 171 70%...

Re: Cornell 2019
Thanks, CU77. I like Petterson's "feed me" mime to Teat. Catching up on the stats, I had a few thoughts: 1. The shot clock has really changed the game. Without the ability to "sit" on a lead, the ability to play all four quarters, and realistically come back from behind is a big ...

Re: Cornell 2019
In correspondence, it was noted that the team wanted to practice outside in order to provide them with an advantage in the opening cold weather games. Until a large indoor practice facility is built, there is a huge indoor facility 20 minutes from Schoelkopf Field called "The Field" that i...

Re: Cornell 2019
Penn State takes it 19-13. While not encouraging, Penn State looked bigger, stronger and faster on the evening. What was encouraging is that the Big Red kept playing, and pulled within 3 goals. As the announcers noted, Cornell outscored the Nittany Lions 11-10 in the final 3 quarters. The adjustment...

If I am watching the correct feed for Towson, it simply shows a long distance feed from the stands. The audio will likely be better.

Re: Cornell 2019
Speaking of the MLL, at some point on the appropriate thread, it would be interesting to know how players have made decisions with respect to the new pro league, the Premier Lacrosse League. It seems that Rob Pannell is sticking with the MLL, and that Connor Buczek is moving to "Atlas" in ...

Re: Ivy League 2019
Nice bounce-back win today for Princeton, 19-11 at Navy; scoring 19 is impressive. UMass's 14-8 win over Albany perhaps makes Yale's recent OT win look a bit better. Disappointed that Dartmouth lost at home 13-8 to UMass Lowell. Also makes Cornell’s one goal win over Albany less impressive. Albany ...
