Re: Games Today
How the heck is UConn losing to St Joes? St Joes sti………… St Joe’s is not in the same league as UConn. See what I did there. Gonna say at this point UConn is a bit overrated. Which begs the question, who is JMU?? They absolutely torched VT, beat a good, albeit short handed UNC squad, and didn't have...

Re: Big 12 Lacrosse
Interesting choice by Florida..long term i see them being second behind Colorado. The buffs are a rising program in a rising lacrosse hotbed they'll be the class of the conference. All the other programs are pretty much on par with or a little worse than florida

Re: Declining Programs
Penn State. They reinvested in lacrosse a while back and brought in Tambroni and Missy at the same time. It was supposed to be a rebirth of the sport there. It was certainly a rebirth for the men. Not exactly sure what Missy has done to keep her job during this tenure. it's funny because Penn State...

Re: Stanford Player Gets Red Card for Hit
This was a forceful shove and stab at a defenseless player. She was looking at the ball and the defender the whole time, i don't see how you can say she thought the ball was still in the defender's stick. Even if she did, all she had to do was have her hands out and guide the player away or make att...

Re: Declining Programs
I just don't get the PSU women's lacrosse team. The school, the academics, the other athletics and State College is an amazing place to be as a student. It should be a dream location, but I question how the program is run. I saw someone post this recently, I think most high school girls want their ...

Re: OuttaNowhereWregget--Redux
Izzy is so good that when she's not putting up 6 or 7 goals a game people think she's done. She'll be fine. NU is not as good as they were last year but Izzy Scane is still the best player in college lacrosse by a long margin

Re: Stanford Player Gets Red Card for Hit
Women lacrosse players understand sportsmanship probably more than any other sport. Lacrosse is a tight knit community and alot of these girls grew up playing with eachother, they know eachother, alot have friends on other teams. So when there is a blatantly dirty play, it stands out. And i'm sorry ...

Re: UNC 2024
How good is JHU? UNC beat them last year with a worse roster. Should still be a good test as it will be the first true competition the young attackers will face

Re: Games Today
You would have to include Louisville on the team on the decline list except they haven’t been good for a long time if at all. They don’t have a lot of talent or coaching. Scott Teeter is a pretty good coach. He coached the Canadian U-19 team. I think one of the problems for Louisville is getting ki...

Re: Declining Programs
What is PSU doing? Watched Colorado beat them Friday. O'Neil barely touched the ball in a close game, I hope she is healthy. Their ranking is probably due to the talent on the team, not the poor coaching. That is a prime job if I'm a coach on the rise to make a great program. Missy needs to go. Cha...

Declining Programs
We've had topics about programs on the rise. Now that most teams have played a few games, i've decided to start a topic to discuss perennial top 25 teams that seem to be falling by the wayside and gauge people's levels of concern for these programs. Feel free to include programs not listed here. I'l...

Re: UNC 2024
Solid contribution from freshmen like Ingrlli and Leonard. Defense needs alot of work and i'm sure Jenny is letting the team know. This offense is potent the way they can just keep throwing players at you.

Re: Games Today
Boston College is too stacked to not be No. 1, JMU beat an injury-riddled UNC team at HOME by 1 in overtime. They are not No. 1. UNC have multiple threats, not just the 3 injured. They should have been able to pull off a win with what they had. The Ortega days are over IMO. JMU was a well oiled mac...

Re: Games Today
Florida ran out of gas. UNC depth still the best in the country. Florida has zero depth and will struggle against good teams. Good game between CUSE and MD. Huge game for MD in my opinion..will set the tone for the rest of the season I watched the first half at the gym. Florida was winning draws. D...

Re: Games Today
This was a beat down. Notre dame dominated every category except saves. If their goalie had had a better save oercentage, it would have been more apparent how much better they were last night than NU. They out northwesterned northwestern. They were faster and deeper. This was much different than my...

Re: Games Today
JMU is tough. UNC's defense will have to be better but AH really gives that offense a different dynamic. 5 points in the first half. She has a good chance of winning the Tewaaraton with around 130 points with 90 being assists

Re: Syracuse 2024
News out of Syracuse. Ashlee Volpe, only true lefty on starting attack, done for season with a knee injury. That’s 3 ACLs this year, with around a dozen over last 3 years. What’s the deal there? what the heck. Ashlee was one of the freshman i was excited to see play this year and would have been a ...
