Re: 2024 Bracketology

Penn State owns the most well-rounded profile at this stage, and three of its final four regular-season games are against Top 20 opponents. … Cornell’s victory over Yale already appears to be one of the more valuable assets on the board. These are two solid observations from this way too early writ...

Re: Villanova 2024

That last game for Brown was some intense lacrosse. I’m following Ben Scandone these days, a sophomore transfer from Drexel - seems to spark Brown’s 1st midfield with solid playmaking. Also have been tracking Matteo Corsi since he transferred from Syracuse. Me too, he’s on a fantasy roster and I th...

Re: Big Ten 2024

With Yale playing LIU, that game drops them below Penn State in the ever changing RPI calculations.

Penn State is number one in RPI, for now - likely for the first time since they made the Final Four in 2019.

Re: TV Broadcasts/Announcers/Production

Yes, the fact that so many games are viewable now is amazing. I'm old enough to remember being out here on the West Coast, and my only source of lax info was a short list of scores in the Sunday New York Times at the library. And I walked miles through snow to school too! Ah, but there's more...

Re: Johns Hopkins 2024

Lousy play from Melendez
turns into a last second goal - this game should not be a 3 goal game.

Re: Big Ten 2024

Always good beating The Ohio State on their home turf. Kyle Lehman was being kept out the past xx games, to have him ready for B1G play, today. And it looks like Ethan Long was out this game, Posey still not back yet. Good defense and real solid freshman goalie though for OSU. Penn State #2 RPI with...

Re: Atlantic 10 2024

Nothing to lose,
everything to gain,

perfect play as it turned out - one of the best I've seen this year.

I wonder if any NLL team has drafted that guy - good build and stick for box.

Re: Atlantic 10 2024

2 statement wins from the A-10, the UPenn win and now the UNC win,

that was one of the best end-of-game set plays I've seen in a while - had to be perfect and they were.
