Re: Here we go again with the Face Off
Simple change: set it up as a duel. Each specialist five yards from the ball. No long stick. Blow whistle. Good luck. My main concern would be the big hits and injuries (especially head injuries) that would follow. Five yards is plenty to gain some major momentum for a hit. DocBarrister This is my ...

Re: Georgetown 2020
A distributor like Clark is needed, but let’s not forget the current bench (Munro, MacLeod, et al) could step up as could an incoming frosh. GTown has a loaded recruiting class coming in, and some are attackmen. Warne has a willingness and, it seems, a desire to start freshmen. His recent track rec...

Re: Georgetown 2020
Now that Sowers and Morrill are off the table, who do we speculate would be a good transfer pickup? The third attackman spot is up for grabs this year with Clarke's departure ... or another middie? Would it be better for team chemistry to look for an underclassman rather than a one-and-done grad tr...

Re: Big East Lacrosse 2021
Big news today with Morrill heading to Denver and Kirst returning to Nova. Both teams look formidable. Providence had a great start to 2020, but stand to lose Lahey to the portal. The Madsens look to return to STJ. Marquette has its Canadians and the new coach with a year behind him. Georgetown sti...

Re: Georgetown 2020
Warne adjusted, Phipps and Shriver huge as mentioned. Buy in from the kids changed with the 2018 senior class leading that change. Last two classes on campus and next two incoming highly rated. Things can change quickly if coaching, culture and talent are all in one place. Hoyas have all three curr...

Re: Georgetown 2020
Morrill is one of the few non-Hoya 5th years I'd be thrilled with on the team. I like the guys we have and I wouldn't want to disrupt their chemistry or growth. Morrill is team-first and an unselfish player. I think he could fit in really well with our attack and the team as a whole. With Morrill we...
