Re: Coaching Carousel 2024
Mike Daley is undoubtedly the worst coach in division one Lacrosse. He has very limited knowledge of the game and relies on his assistant coaches. It is a complete fluke that he became a division one coach in the first place and for the good of Brown lacrosse, he needs to go! Nick Meyers is a compl...

Re: Hobart 2024
Bonnie’s zone defense is effective; Hobart trying to dodge into zone with little success. Delano, Rosa, Patterson, Race, Souleymane, Steven’s—too many little guys expected to play big roles in D1 lacrosse.. Gullace is rather slight, too..need more SSDM size like Wimer. Are all those guys dressed in ...

Re: Hobart 2024
RIT undergraduate enrollment: 12,000+ and, I believe FREE tuition for Canadians(there's 23 on current roster). There's a reason so many HS/college players spend their summers playing box. Again, it's the jimmy & joes...

Re: Hobart 2024
I’d also argue that this years schedule was brutal. 6 teams in the top 20 etc Does it matter when you also saw them not get off the bus for the fist quarter of Albany, put up little to no fight vs Cornell and blew that massive lead and men have all come to expect blown leads and unprepared starts s...

Re: Hobart 2024
Why does everyone think this staff can't get it done? The move to the A-10 was going to be very tough for a school like Hobart. Do you think given time with the scholarships, it will get better or do you actually think a better HC is in need? I just find it hard to believe a staff that has gone to ...

Re: UVA @ Syracuse Sat. 4/20 2 pm
I, too, think SU should defer giving #22 to a freshman(I know, no one asked me). Perhaps that was the lure to get him to SU, but I doubt it. Otherwise, I like Joey's game and the fact that he draws the opponents #1 pole and the accompanying pressure as it frees up his teammates. Most #1 poles want t...

Re: Hobart 2024
I think they'll beat the Bonnies by 10+. Ignorantly unaware that Hobart was only working with 3 scholarships. Granted, financial aid has always be generous to lax players, but getting the full 12.6 will be a game changer for the program. Grabbing some Canucks and other high profile players will be m...

Re: Cornell 2024
We get it, you like Ryan, despite his role with the Big Red. I'd take both Duffy and Millon over him without hesitation. Plus, Ryan's size, or lack thereof, may be an issue down the road. Also, while not a true freshman, Petro would be a great fit for Cornell as a lefty finisher is always in demand....

Re: Cornell 2024
As someone who follows the ACC closely—there is a highly regarded freshman attackman on my favorite teams and the best player on the weakest ACC team is a freshman—I’m not sure there’s a freshman attackman in the ACC that I would trade for Goldstein. He’s fundamentally sound, he doesn’t hog the bal...

Re: Hobart 2024
Don't think that's true leafybeef...my daughter transferred into WS and all credits transferred and they even gave her credits for her HS AP courses(her prior school--a Patriot League school--did not accept the AP's as college credit).

Re: Hobart 2024
Glad I'm not the only one that found the recent podcast disappointing. Coach says how hard they have worked--and I don't doubt that they have; but, if the payoff isn't there then perhaps neither is the talent? Hoping the increase in scholarship allotment with enable the coaches to attract some bette...

Re: Hobart 2024
FMU I didn't know you're such a young guy...you played during the "great run"!
[/quote]
Young?
I guess Hobart was able to "out-recruit" Cornell, SU, UNC, UMass, Loyola, Penn St back in the 80's, haha!

Re: Hobart 2024
man:down, Hate to have to give you a Hobart lax history lesson, but during my 4 years we beat some "small schools" like #1 ranked UNC, #1 ranked SU, and my last year W's over Cornell(by 12 goals) Penn State(by 10 goals), Hofstra(by a lot), Loyola, SU...so, yeah, when you get blown out by a...

Re: Hobart 2024
I did not catch the Richmond game but from what I heard, that team was very very good - maybe more organized and polished than any other team Hobart has faced this year? So that was going to be a long shot. Any slopiness or coaching misses just made it even harder. If you look at the team's record ...

Re: Hobart 2024
Agreed, Oldbartman. The starters must have realized the game was out of reach by halftime and should have expected to be rotated out. There are a lot of guys on the sideline who work hard every day and made the trip to Richmond. They deserve some minutes on the field. Spot on oldbartman; down 16-3 ...
