Re: ODAC 2024

As one of the few RMC alum on this board this was a sweet win and hoping the boys can continue to overachieve this weekend and beyond. From 2011 we've had: Plantholt have this team on the upswing, to him leaving in the middle of the night trying to take his recruits, to JB joining late, to the turf ...

Re: ODAC 2024

Big weekend for ODAC lacrosse regarding getting teams into the dance in May. Lynchburg vs Denison--Taking the Hornets here, will need to win every matchup/stay close to CNU if they want to be top 10 going into conference play. W&L vs Gettysburg--Wisdom points to the Bullets but should be close, ...

Re: ODAC 2024

Jackets pull away from St Mary’s to win 13-9. 4 goal margin despite some off games from their top contributors which is hopefully a good sign of depth. Up 13-7 last few minutes but got into some penalty trouble late at St Mary’s made them pay. Good win for ODAC, not sure why so many had them as unde...

Re: England Lacrosse SEMLA

By popular demand, we have the updated power rankings: 1. Owen Caputo--have reviewed the film and decided that he's worth a ranking on his own. Will be seeing if he plays vs. the North at the end of the season so we can have him represent England at the European club championships. 2. Spencer--anoth...

England Lacrosse SEMLA

Due to HEAVY interest we’re doing a SEMLA thread for those yearning for the old laxpower threads. 2024 premier league power rankings 1. Hampstead—The North Americans are barely holding on with close calls to Camden and Spencer. I’d wager that they lose to Camden in local league despite rumors of a u...

Re: ODAC 2024

Practices soon to start so let’s get some updated predictions 1. Lynchburg: W&L has had their number but going with Hornets as they use the last of the COVID years. Have dropped a bit from their run in the mid-teens so hope they can make more noise out of conference. 2. W&L: might have them ...

Re: Coaching Carousel 2023 - D3

More exclusive? As opposed to when it was a rich white dude sport in NY/MD/NE? There’s more teams than ever in the NCAA and while we’ve made strides it’s still is and always will be primarily played by upper middle class whites. Colleges are just noticing it more and using it more. The bottom 4th of...

Re: VA Public School Lacrosse

Too bad, miss the days where private 2, NW, SW had there own pages and Northern would be about 100 pages at year end.

On another note Atlee going 3-0 Vs the Privates and beating Riverside & obliterating every 4A school in its path deserves some recognition.

Re: Most Painful Loss You Have Witnessed Involving Your Favorite Program?

Not necessarily a fan of either but Roanoke Vs Lynchburg 2007 (Noke 17-burg 16) Lynchburg up 4 I believe with a minute left and lost in the opening seconds of OT. Still not sure why this game doesn’t get mentioned more often. Not a recap on either teams website, would do anything for that last barra...

Re: ODAC lax season is on

RMC schedule out today with an ambitious OOC with Salisbury, CNU, WAC, St Mary’s and MWC. Time to see if Jackets are moving up or if last year was a product of an extremely weak out of conference slate. Noke shows no OOC at the moment while Shenandoah and VA Wes show abbreviated OOC along with the o...

Re: ODAC lax season is on

Excited to see some ODAC play this spring, curious to check out the different schedules/rosters as they slowly appear over the next few months. I’m curious to see if playing this season will get some recruits from up north to consider the ODAC if other conferences don’t play. While ODAC doesn’t have...

Re: ODAC 2020

With RMC and HSC receiving votes in the poll this week. Does anyone know if there’s ever been a time four ODAC teams got votes and Roanoke (or LYN/W&L/HSC for that matter) wasn’t one of the teams? Not a particularly difficult SOS for the Jackets but would be nice if they could stabilize as a 25-...
