Re: Hobart 2022

Just to be clear I think Shea has been great and very happy to have him. Sisselberger is just an elite player and a huge physical presence .
The schedule is definitely a bear the next few weeks

Re: Hobart 2022

Solid start to the season, good to see some young guys making an impact.
Should be interesting to see what the coaching staff comes up with for dealing with Sisselberger on FO.
He’s a beast

Re: Hobart 2022

Always hard to tell anything from scrimmage scores
Dont know who was playing starters / subs etc..
I heard execution wasn’t pretty solid which is what we’re looking for,

Knox and Blanchard had good starts with OSU
Knox 3G , Blanchard 3-5 f/o

Re: Hobart 2022

That’s sort of been a calling card of Coach Raymonds teams that they are always slow starters and playing from behind.
That’s a tough way to go through your seasons
Glad they kicked into gear and played well

Re: Hobart 2022

Thanks for the update
Any idea about who’s playing?
The Varsity could have their hands full if they are facing Holden, Frankie, Aslanian, pedecine, willman, Moore, Mueller, Scottie…

Re: Hobart 2022

Knox on the transfer portal signed with Ohio State
Guess whatever his issues were in Geneva were not too serious
Perhaps the issue was he simply didn’t want to be a Statesman?

Re: Hobart 2022

Fair enough on the Joes and Bryant games.
Cornell had a losing record and was really poor when we beat them , we were actually favored in the Georgetown win they were 2-12 that year

Re: Hobart 2022

Very difficult to improve SOS It’s been fun to follow the Statesmen under Raymond but the team has not won a really significant game . I’m struggling to think of a single game that we won as an underdog. We haven’t really been competitive in games with Cornell , Syracuse etc.., Even the next level d...

Re: Hobart 2022

‘22 off and running… I’ve also heard that a number of seniors are planning to return. Doubtful on Knox Hopefully the boys spend the summer staying healthy Rehabbing injuries and working on fundamentals A 2022 season in which everyone has their stick skills tuned up and less unforced errors would be ...

Re: Hobart 2021

Agree with Laxgunea well done Wylie Sherman
Made a bunch of big plays
Played hard even after taking a nasty hit late in the game .
Speaking of Wylie I noticed he’s one of the seniors , along with Mott, Archer and Imburgia that were not part of the senior day celebration?

Re: Hobart 2021

Tough loss , the boys showed heart battling back several times. Holtby had nothing today , there were some really strong shots but quite a few he should have had. Shooting was atrocious most of the game can’t even count how many times we hit the goalie or stuck it straight into his crosse. Too much ...

Re: Hobart 2021

They could certainly start by restructuring the EMO!
Only two teams Wagner and Cleveland State are worse.
Anything new would be a treat , any 6 new guys
Can’t be much worse.
We were terrible u see Pistol Peet and worse now with Brundage.
