Re: Hobart 2022
Listen to the podcast it doesn’t sound like the goalie experiment is over. Like any GK , Holtby has had some tough spots the past two seasons , but he certainly was not the problem this losing streak. Shea handled Sisselberger hopefully he is up for the task with the SJU FO specialist

Re: Hobart 2022
Not sure how these things work, does Bryant’s announcement affect their eligibility to play in this years NEC playoffs or Championship?

Re: NEC 2022
St Joes certainly seems to be the class of the league , but never count out Presslers teams they will be Bulldogs to the bitter end.
Liu got a bunch of gamers and SHU showed Hobart they are going to make changes and battle

Re: Hobart 2022
This teams shot selection is awful. It’s like I’m tired of running around aimlessly getting hacked on by the defenseman so I’ll just sling one in the “general” direction of the goal Fundamentals , fundamentals, fundamentals… Get away from the defense , move the ball to a teammate stop carrying the b...

A keg of Genny Cream is the best idea I’ve seen posted on this thread in a long time!!!
Oh wait a minute you meant for the team, I was thinking for the fans!!!

Re: Hobart 2022
It’s hard to know what’s going on day to day in practice maybe Loukas has been killing it. Hopefully that’s the case and today was a blip. But with all the guys we have out , Romm, Datellas, Madonna , Baltzer…. Why would you change the D unit that is not suffering injuries ? Has Holtby really been t...

Re: Hobart 2022
GK change was planned prior to the game.
Can’t blame him for all the goals but he’s got to save at least a few. Can’t imagine what the coaches are seeing in practice the kid looked way out of his element

Re: Hobart 2022
Hopefully we will see some fire and desire today along with some solid fundamentals both physically and mentally.
If we don’t this will be over early.
Ketch you might as well go out to the game it could be the last one that really matters for the year!!

Re: Hobart 2022
To SMAIN’s point they need some team leaders to step forward and demand better. We saw the team play at a significantly higher level against ranked opponents. I don’t think this team has captains I think I remember one of the podcasts Coach said they have a “ leadership council” made up of a number ...

Re: NEC 2022
Ketch , I always love your posts they show great insight into the game , the team and the Colleges . But the two strong players out is not an excuse , all teams have players out over the course of the year , “next man up” guys need to be ready to step up and carry the load while Madonna or others ar...

Re: Hobart 2022
I hear what SMAIN is saying , but I was down on the fence Along the side line and Hobart felt flat . Shea handled face offs well but SHU ‘s Face off group is not very strong Credit Adam for doing what he needed to as opposed to a lot of the teams other leaders including coaches that didn’t step up. ...

Re: NEC 2022
Hobart played poorly , looked like very little desire . Maybe they were looking past SHU ? Hobart shouldn’t look past anyone , they are not talented enough. Credit to SHU they stayed in the game and battled hard. Hobart offense was completely out of sync in second half . Terrible shot selection , po...

Re: Hobart 2022
It’s like deja vu all over again. How many times have we watched Raymonds Hobart teams play down to the level of the competition and take a bad loss. Frustrating, when are they going to learn they are not good enough to take any opponent lightly. Today looked much more like the level I was expecting...

Re: Hobart 2022
Awful, that was really terrible
Huge underperformance
SHU goalie played well , but we were really bad in second half
Out hustled, pushed around
The last pass lobbed across the crease ?
That looked like junior lacrosse nonsense

Re: Hobart 2022
Statesmen played well
Best showing I’ve seen from EMO is years.
Needed a few more possessions , Phaup was tough.
Couple of questionable calls , but fact is Dordevic and Curry are just good enough to turn the game .
Let’s go get the NEC

Re: Hobart 2022
Say what you like about Kennedy but the kid is a stud.
A real difference maker, liked him better at LSM
Hope Coach Brundage has figured a way to make Kennedy less of a factor.

Re: Hobart 2022
If Hobart has put the option out there for ‘Gate to come play in the dome they would be crazy not to accept. Who needs to slog it out and potentially have injuries due to terrible conditions in an OOC game? Doesn’t help either team. Hopefully the boys aren’t already looking ahead to Cornell and Cuse...

Terrific win against a strong opponent
Strong performance by Adam Shea
Let’s not get caught in the dreaded trap game Friday between two big opponents

Re: Hobart 2022
Great to have a good come , remember a few years back they played Cornell in a dome at Binghamton and one end was dark as night. Poor Jackson Brown couldn’t see a thing!
