Re: 2023 Televised/Streaming Games
BTN + streaming is what it is…not a great production but that’s all tied to the school With that said, national BTN games with Joe B and Dixon are the best broadcast out there. Guys do their homework, they know all the players both ways (not just a few superstars) and the production quality is great...

Re: Loyola Greyhounds 2023
Hughes, Ryzanka, Wyers, and Middleton is a nice base to start with. Add in Sally who got a year under his belt in our system last year. And we're not trotting out a bunch of inexperienced rookies. Agree. Good base to work with. Returning all the shorties..obviously Ryzanka is a stud…if the other gu...

I think Loyola played Syracuse and Nova in that fall scrimmageTurnandrake wrote: ↑Thu Jan 26, 2023 8:21 pmStill handle Loyola and Syracuse in the fall pretty easy. Again it’s fall.
High Point was there, but they played Cuse and Nova

Re: Loyola Greyhounds 2023
Kamish started right out of the gate and started all 6 games his freshman year before Covid shut it down Poitras and James logged heavy minutes as freshman as well The nice thing is those three guys still have 2 years left (including this year) But I agree than most guys need a year to settle in bef...

Re: 2023 Preseason Inside Lacrosse Media Poll
Harvard to the Ivy League is like Michigan to the B10. They beat up on inferior OOC opponents and benefit from being in a strong conference. Last year Harvard benefitted from sneaking out some Ivy wins, Michigan did not win a single B10 game. I am happy to see them schedule UVA, but outside of that...

Re: Rutgers 2023
Every post that talked about the scrimmage in this thread stated “we all know it’s a scrimmage so you can’t get too wrapped up in the weeds” ….just like every other team thread that’s had a scrimmage…

Re: Rutgers 2023
Impressed with Rutgers play for a first scrimmage. Lots of new pieces melded with a solid core. Older parents I spoke to said it was the best they have looked this early. The new SSDM guys looked solid, athletic and physical. Goalie play was very good. If BU is as strong as many have stated, this y...

Re: Rutgers 2023
The Knights won in convincing fashion. I don't know what Boston University's prospective season outlook looks like, but the Knights were bigger, stronger, faster, deeper. Palma got the first start in goal and the attack looked very strong, as did the midfield. Scoring seemed very spread between the...

Re: Toughest/Softest Lacrosse Schedule 2023?
Conference scheduling is locked in, so not much any team can do about that Ivy, B1G, and ACC have built in tough schedules because of conference play (most years)… A good number of teams have good OOC schedules so we should all be treated to some fun OOC early season games. Loyola has another very g...

Re: Loyola Greyhounds 2023
"There’s a legitimate argument to be made that the Greyhounds will be worse than they were last year, when they finished 8-8 and outside the NCAA Tournament. In fact, they lost a one-goal game to Army in the Patriot League Semifinals after winning three straight; in 2021 (when they made it to ...

Re: Loyola Greyhounds 2023
IMO - BU needs to be the odds on favorite in the PL, but after that, I’d say the next 3-4 teams (Loyola is in that mix) can make a run and could unseat BU as the champ. Easy to make bold predictions on a board in December, but I expect the Loyola offense to be very productive this year and better th...

https://loyolagreyhounds.com/news/2022/12/14/mens-lacrosse-loyola-lacrosse-teams-announce-2023-schedules.aspx Men and women’s teams have announced their schedule. Same opponents as last year but flip the script on the venues. This year might even be more difficult than last. All OOC teams have relo...

Re: Programs Who Will Have Lacrosse-Only Stadiums In The Future?
Rutgers. Soon. To go along with the fantastic combo lacrosse and soccer facility they just built (Rodkin)….I’d put that new facility up with any other lacrosse locker room / training facilities in the country…not saying it’s the best but it is as good as most. Great addition and selling point at RU.

Re: Michigan 2023
Much better schedule this year (last years was really bad) We will see if they can get some Big Ten wins this year and take a step up out of the Big Ten basement…I happen to think they can get a couple home conference wins this year…just my opinion. Need to see them win some bigger profile games…ear...

Re: Loyola Greyhounds 2023
Much better performance then last season. Offensively ball was moving well. When things settled in I thought the guys out there played well and looked solid. James, Kamish, Lindsey, Poitras and Higgins all had goals(+) and made plays that could have resulted in more goals and / or points…we know wha...

Re: Loyola Greyhounds 2023
Any word on inter squad scrimmage? My kid said Binney had 2G, Fairey (LSM) had two goals and that Haberman and Minicus both looked good for being freshman. Said Kamish also looked great. Second line mids were Binney, McGory and Houston. Minicus started with Kamish, Lindsey, James, Higgins and Poitr...

Re: Rutgers 2023
I think you are just messing with the Rutgers crowd. Every kid on that list is headed to a top academic school, most are very elite.....What's your point? As PulpExposure mentioned Penn State regularly gets some of the top kids from Malvern, Haverford, ANC, Garnet Valley, Episcopal, etc. to stay in...

Re: Rutgers 2023
Rutgers is an excellent school. That’s not debatable On the surface it’s too bad some of those kids go elsewhere… With that said, most of those kids on that list are going IVY or to other very high level academic institutions. And most are also great programs with either current success or historica...

Re: Recruiting, the exact science
Lorin, I find it odd that you criticize Rutgers for not performing well in the NCAAs when your team is...Army. If you are using the same standard for your favorite team - How many NCAA tournament games has Army won in the past 22 years? Anyone know? I think Army has one what I’ll call semi-recent N...

Re: Loyola Greyhounds 2023
It has been almost 5 months since the season ended. None of these guys had significant injuries (ie ACL or tears). I have heard Loyola is indifferent about the weight room but maybe they need to get with the times. There is no reason these guys should be missing valuable time with the schedule they...
